Mixed reviews here. Definitely not a 5 star property and never truly will be when comparing to other luxury 5 stars.
Food and drinks: Above average for an all-inclusive. Still could use some work but overall pretty good. Upgraded alcohol and good sit down restaurants. Daytime options are limited and not great. Pool food was terrible. Adult pool bartenders are terrible. Make inconsistent drinks and don't make them how you request. They should replace these with better bartenders.
Rooms: WAY TOO SMALL. Don't be deceived, they advertise larger rooms on the website but they're all the same size (540 sf which is small for a resort that claims to be 5 star). The rooms they show as being larger are just including balcony square footage which is deceiving as far as I'm concerned.
Beach: Good beach, it's tucked in a marina so water is calm
Monkey Bar is awesome, best bartender on the property
Adult pool is great. Family pool is underwhelming. Too small, it was freezing and we had to beg like eight different people to heat it. 80 degrees and sunny and pool was empty because it was so cold.
Hotel already showing some wear even though it's brand new. They need to go back through and do some work to make it look new. Imagine it won't age well.
We had a hot tub on the roof and the water was so gross (brown) that we refused to get in it.
Location not bad but you can't walk anywhere up and down the beach because it's confined in the marina.
