The staff were friendly. Plenty of food options. beach was clean. Lunch options were limited to two restaurants and this can be challenging in busy times.

Hidden fees alert! They charged me things we didn’t use and are not responsive at all when I asked them to investigate and provide refund! I paid everything in full upfront through Expedia and there shouldn’t be any additional charges. Besides, very limited options of restaurants, and you have to make reservations days before to go to any of them because they are easily booked out. The first day we arrived, we couldn’t find anything to eat until 9 PM

The good: the property is beautiful, the food is incredible, the service is mostly top notch and the pool (adult) is amazing. The not-so-good: if you're a beach lover, the beach is just OK. You're not able to walk up and down the beach and there is a big cargo boat that loads right next to the hotel. I wasn't a fan. This won't bother most people. The other thing is that half the rooms don't face the beach, and if you're super unlucky, you might have a view of the parking lot... which is really depressing. They should have designed the hotel so that every room angled towards the beach and had a beach view because the view on the marina side is not befitting of this hotel. Again, this won't bother everyone, but it bothered us.

I just wanted to leave my review for a 7 night stay as an adult couple from Feb 4-11. We were an elite member for this stay. Check In: Seamless- we were greeted right away and brought over to a private check in counter. We were asked what our favourite drink was and were brought two margaritas. We were then given a map and a small tour. Staff: I would say the staff at the resort are absolutely wonderful. They were all so friendly, attentive and welcoming. They work so hard, they are constantly cleaning and maintaining the space. We received lovely service from the coffee shop, smoothie bar, bartenders and waiters. 10/10 service all around. I will make a small note that while hard working and friendly, the servers at the adults only pool are stretched thin. Definitely under staffed in that area. Rooms: Clean and lovely, on the smaller side. Our room was cleaned twice daily (once in afternoon and we had turn down service everyday as well) I was impressed with the mini fridge drink selection and the snacks in the room. If tv is important to you, bring a fire stick. The tv is all in Spanish and you can’t change the settings to English. Food: My partner and I are from the food industry so we understand how difficult it is to maintain quality and consistency in such a large operation. We found the food to be great and above average for an AI.

Property is beautifully designed as you enter the main lobby. Grounds and style are very nice. Rooms are also very modern, sheek, and stylish. We travel a lot and have never felt we should write a poor review however we had to. The service is very slow unorganized and lacking. Frustrating. Food was hit and miss. Mostly miss. Which was a huge disappointment. They just had no policies or communication. We have stayed at other new resorts with growing pains and this was by far the most noticable and am disappointing. Pool service was awkward. Felt like a nuisance to the servers. Classic pool cocktails didn't even taste great. How can you mess that up? Also Asian restaurant we would give the food 1.5 stars. The steak restaurant would be recommended for the flavor of the steak and ambiance. The elite status didn't feel elite. If you are looking to enjoy an adult vacation here then maybe re think as you will be around many families and children. There are several other resorts we would recommend and would go back to and won't be back to the SLS PM.

About ~30 minutes from Cancún airport and highly recommend booking personal transportation prior to the trip. Overall, this resort is gorgeous and offers many different things to do! We stayed for 4 days and this was enough time in my opinion for a couples trip! I could tell this was a newer resort, as there are some gaps in which could use some fine-tuning. Below is that list: - There was a bit of communication gap and language barriers also made this a tad bit more difficult. - Reservations for the restaurants tend to be full and limited. - Only breakfast buffet and no lunch or dinner buffet. - Bought one spray sunscreen at the store there and noticed it was about $48 on my bank statement which didn’t seem to align with the price on the tag and seems heavily inflated. - Allergies were asked about at all restaurants but there were still peanuts on a few of our dishes. - Booked Elite on Expedia but weren’t informed about the extras that supposedly came with it so missed out on some of those found on website. - Hot tub in room could not be used - produced brownish water. Things we LOVED about our stay: - Amazing and very clean room. - Staff generally was very kind and helpful. - In-room dining was phenomenal! Loved the mobile table so we could sit on the couch, watch tv and the ocean view, while enjoying a delicious and well prepared meal. - Swim up pool was lovely and relaxing. - Adults-only areas were available and a bit separated from the family-friendly areas.

I do understand the mixed reviews… nice hotel delicious night food but lacks breakfast options they should learn from fiesta americana condesa food options…if you have a child under 3 don’t expect to be around water park it’s very limited and was told I couldn’t help my child experience her first water slide so when asked to get out they then stated I could get on like 3 or 4 more slides but that’s it, I was confused so she can or cannot get on? Needs better signage. If you are staying by guest tower 1 you have to go around 300 ft for the next accessible ramp (strollers, wheelchairs, etc.) and expect to get wet from the “waterfall” they have towels and floor always wet… Union restaurant: woman chef scratching face and then touching food, don’t say there isn’t space “ but we’ll try to squeeze you in” you either have the space or not made me feel an inconvenience… Pro: Caracol restaurant guayaba flan so delicious Union restaurant- steak and lobster bisque was so tender and yummy we ordered a second round also waiter named adalberto was amazing! Entertainment every day and night was great I would go back. We did learn from the locals nearby while walking that this hotel was down because they were never approved to open which makes sense of all the minor details, rust, and broken items, and continuing construction. Check in is horrible no organization whatsoever waiting over an hour standing up bc if you sit you lose your place in line. Overall yes you should visit.

This property was excellent. I haven't done a ton of all-inclusive resorts but this one by far was the best. It is new so not busy yet, go now! The food was all excellent. The service was incredible. The adult pool was perfect! My only concern was that I am a breastfeeding mom and asked to cool an ice pack the night before traveling home so I could safely take my milk. They told me they couldn't find a cooler in the entire resort for my one ice pack. The concierge was supposed to try to find something and get back to me. I never heard back from them.

Beautiful architecture, great food in general, friendly staff. It is relatively small compared to other resorts out there in cancun but beautiful architecture and design of the resort makes up for it. Amazing diners! Good for kids and families, but no water activities. Evening outdoor concert was a good time too. Very clean but you may feel that there aren’t many variety of activities. There was one time I did get served bad sushi which caused food poisoning though.

The restaurant reservation system is not great. You have to reserve 2-3 days in advance. First day you just get turned away by every restaurant and end up in the sports pub

Beautiful property with the kindest staff.A large resort that feels intimate.Wonderful food and gorgeous beach with plenty of loungers.We had an amazing week and again I’ll say that the staff were fabulous.
