Nan's Cottage mimics the guesthouse once run by Nan Powell in the late 1800' s. From the private patio, one can enjoy the stunning view of the historic main house and gardens, the peaceful woods and wildlife, as well as the original stone fences and Blue Ridge Mountains. Take time to relax and unwind in front of the trickling, stone fountain.

Step inside Nan's Cottage and be wowed by it s fresh palette of soothing tones and spacious, open feel. Romantic "Shabby Chic" decor compliments this newly constructed paradise which boasts a vaulted ceiling, rustic beams, an intimate sitting area with electric fireplace, and a sparkling kitchenette. Snuggle up on the comfy loveseat with a good book or a DVD on the 40" TV screen.

The expansive, spa-like bathroom features an amazing two person shower with bench, glass doors, and rain showerhead. After relaxing in this mini-paradise, you ll be ready to collapse onto the comfortable Queen size bed with luxurious linens and your choice of pillows.

The rustic elegance of Nan's Cottage creates a beautiful setting for that special, romantic getaway or honeymoon.

Beautiful Oasis Perfect for a Getaway
This property and its amazing owners went way above our expectations! The cottage was perfect, food was delicious and the owners were lovely! Local wineries, hikes and restaurants were great. We highly recommend staying here!

This property was amazing! It went above and beyond our expectations. The owners of the bed and breakfast were so attentive and accommodating. Definitely recommend adding on the breakfast, it was some of the best I’ve ever had! Overall, I’m so impressed with our stay and we will definitely be coming back!

Our stay at Airwell B&B was absolutely wonderful. Nans Cottage was comfortable, cozy, clean and well stocked with thoughtful touches. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful…exactly as pictured. Breakfast outside was the perfect ending to our stay and very delicious. Lisa and Todd were extremely gracious and lovely hosts. We are looking forward to visiting again. If you’re thinking about booking Nans Cottage, you should, you won’t regret it!

Quiet, cozy, beautiful cottage in Purcellville
Todd and Lisa have such a comfortable cottage on their property in Airmont (Purcellville). You'll feel right at home in the well-decorated and clean space. We felt like we had a great balance between privacy and also not feeling like we were alone in the middle of the woods. :) Also - get the breakfast!! It's so worth it. We will definitely be returning to Airwell in the future!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
We stayed at Nan’s cottage for my husband’s birthday weekend. We love exploring wineries and this cottage was in a perfect location. Lisa and Todd were excellent hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we were comfortable and felt welcome. Breakfast in the morning is a must! It was hands down one of the best breakfasts we’ve had on vacation and it was delivered right to our door! We can’t wait to stay with Lisa and Todd again soon!

Magical holiday!
Everything about the cottage is charming! We couldn’t have stayed anywhere better over the holidays! It was better than expected and I had high expectations from the listing. Many little extras from the variety of coffees, assortment of snacks and beverages, flameless candles, books and movies, soft linens, robes, cozy throws and fireplace… I could go on and on. The breakfasts were absolutely divine. We will definitely be visiting the area more often with such a lovely place to stay.

A wonderful birthday getaway!
This by far was a wonderful birthday getaway. The property was gorgeous. The cottage looked exactly like the pictures. I loved the decor. Lisa was so sweet, she made me feel so welcomed. She left a cute birthday note and checked in on us. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The shower was amazing! We also enjoyed the hot tub! We will definitely be returning.

The Perfect Thing
The cottage was the perfect thing for a quick retreat out of town for my husband and I. We would like to say that the bed was uncomfortable, sheets were scratchy, breakfast was adequate and the hosts were cranky; but we would be lying. In fact, our experience was quite the opposite. Selfishly, we would like to keep this wonderful snug spot under- raps for ourselves. We will miss the electric fireplace especially, such a great feature coming in from the chilly air. The location was perfect for sweeping scenery and quick access to shopping, restaurants, wineries and breweries. We highly recommend that you try it, but please don't tell all your friends!

Beautiful Cottage and Lots to-do
Nan’s cottage was beautiful and spotless. The check-in was pleasant and fast. Breakfast was delicious and on time. We felt at home during our stay. The snacks and Keurig are an awesome bonus. I hope we stay again at Nan’s cottage - it was such a special weekend! We got engaged nearby. There is lots to do on the property, so book an extra day to enjoy the amenities!

Perfect for a long weekend getaway
My husband and I had a wonderful time staying in Nan’s cottage for our anniversary. We took full advantage of the property and enjoyed the hot tub, hammock, and solo stove. Excellent place to stay
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was in a ideal location and very comfortable. The cottage is part of a bed and breakfast, but we didn’t opt for the daily breakfast this time around. Right outside the front entrance is a cozy seating area with an outdoor fire pit. We enjoyed it one of the evenings during our stay.

Best romantic little getaway
The cutest little house for my wedding weekend! The details the owners put into the stay was amazing! There is so much charm and thought in every corner of the house. We woke up the next morning after our wedding to an amazing breakfast cooked by them which was to die for! Would stay with them again for our 1 year anniversary, they were the best hosts!

My husband and I stayed at Nan’s Cottage for two nights after our wedding! It was the perfect way to begin our first few days as a married couple. We got there late after our wedding reception was over and Lisa and Todd were very accommodating. When we showed up they had even lit candles for us! The homemade breakfast was incredible...some of the best food we’ve had. We wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back. (:

Perfect Getaway
Todd and Lisa were wonderful hosts. From the moment we drove up we felt taken care of. Our cottage was ready, exactly as advertised, immaculately clean, well-appointed with every anticipated need taken care of. The breakfast was delicious! When we came back from our drive the room had been cleaned, dishes done, bed made. Lovely! It felt really great to be treated with such care and attention. We will definitely choose to stay here again if ever in the area. I am a teacher and my partner is a police officer. Trust us. You will not regret staying here. Enjoy!
