The Gokyo - an immersive nature experience between Lakes and Mountains

Located just 20 minutes from Old Quebec, Gokyo is a charming log cabin by the lake, accommodating up to 4 people. Nestled in the heart of nature, with no Wi-Fi, it is perfect for a complete disconnect and an immersive experience in the forest, with opportunities to explore the trails. In summer, guests have access to Lake Poulin for swimming. The service fee includes a shuttle service in winter (the cabin is inaccessible by car in winter), which covers both the outbound and return trips.

For some, the ultimate luxury is a sprawling modern home, equipped with the most sophisticated technological gadgets—where even the toaster and coffee maker are synced with the alarm clock, ensuring that, ten minutes after the first chime, your coffee and toast are ready.
For others, true luxury is found in a small haven of peace, tucked away deep in the forest, where the absence of Wi-Fi and cell service allows for complete and total disconnection.
Serenity, simplicity, the essentials, and digital detox—that’s the promise of the Gokyo, a charming and cozy log cabin nestled amidst lakes and mountains.
In winter, the Gokyo offers a truly immersive experience with its round-trip Polaris Ranger shuttle service. From the moment you step aboard, this ride becomes more than just transportation—it’s your first encounter with the enchanting, snow-covered landscapes of the mountain. Let’s be honest, being driven to your cozy retreat in the heart of the woods already sets the tone for an unforgettable stay, filled with rest and winter magic, doesn’t it?*
In the summer, the Lac Poulin, just a 2-minute drive away, awaits you for your favorite non-motorized water activities. On its sandy beach, you can relax in the sun and soak up some vitamin D.

The Gokyo is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience to live. A return to the essentials, far from the hustle and bustle of daily life, where nature becomes your only connection. And for those seeking an extraordinary winter adventure, this is where it all begins.
