Nice place to stay in Racine
We enjoyed our stay, only wish it would have been longer. It was right by our fishing charter. The only knock is that you have to pay for parking. It wasn’t a big deal. Easy access to dining as well, we recommend the Chart Room Restaurant and Bar.

Great location
Great downtown and Lakeside location. Wasn't able to take advantage of that as I flew in from West Coast for a wedding at the Murray Mansion, and this hotel was perfectly situated, such that I landed at MKE at 2 pm, checked into hotel at 3:20 and got to the 4:30 pm ceremony on time! Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and no street noise.

Sadly disappointed...
Well i needed a connecting room and i caked before i reserved the room online. The lady told me to do a king room and a double queen room because those are the ones that connect, marina view. I did that and still didn't get the connecting room. Although they finally were able to get us close. I took a picture and video of the double queen room because there were a bunch of doritos on the floor under the bed. I went to the check in and shows the receptionist and she said" I'm sorry, housekeeping will be there in the morning to clean that, i said well i will be leaving in the morning. She said oh I'm sorry... nothing was done.. there were also no cookies. I was told doubletree had run out of cookies for at least another 2 weeks. So that was disappointing.

The property is on the water, it has a nice scenic walk area around it. It was pretty quiet for room location we had. The room was clean. The staff was ok, but the girl I had during my checkout needs be to more attentive to me and not FB on her phone. I found that rude..Last impressions are just as important as first ones.
