The view from your private deck won’t disappoint; on a clear day at dusk, Mount Karioi is framed by pink, orange and red, and a clear night shows spectacular stargazing. Add in the birdsong and cascading views of the flower farm, and you’ll have a pinch-yourself moment as you look out at your snapshot of colour. While it’s suitable for most cars, be prepared for your car to get a little dusty. You are encouraged to explore the flower & water gardens and to bring suitable footwear. The creative community of Raglan is just a 20-minute car journey away. There’s excellent fish and chips, great coffee, and plenty of lovely restaurants. The shopping is plentiful for such a small town, too. Independent galleries are dotted about, and the walkable centre sells everything from designer clothing to pottery and surf essentials. A short drive brings you to the beautiful 55 meter high Waireinga/Bridal Veil Waterfalls and wild West Coast Ruapuke Beach.
