a nicely decorated house
We got to the property ~1am and the code to unlock the door didn’t work. I was worried what if I couldn’t reach the owner given it was so late. But fortunately the owner responded to my message right away. The house was clean and well decorated. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Cute & Comfy
This house is really cute and felt like home. It’s a lot more spacious than the photos depict. All modern amenities & appliances. The beds were comfortable as were the robes. Wish we would’ve bbq’d & utilized the backyard. Check in & out were a breeze. Close proximity to NCCU. Mark was prompt to answer any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.

No small details overlooked
What a beautiful, modernized, clean property! Even better than the pictures and Mark thought of everything to make the stay feel like home. Plenty of supplies, trash bags, extra toiletries and other small things...you will just have to see for yourself. We would stay here again on our next visit to family in Durham. Easy peasy check-in and out with clear directions and responsiveness from Mark. Fantastic property and experience. Thank you! Until next time.

Pros: The decor was nice. Neighbors were friendly. Loved the personal touches in the house (extra toothbrush, supplies, etc.). Kitchen had all the necessary supplies and everything you needed. Beds were comfy. Kids loved the gaming machines! Cons: There's quite a bit of DIY in the house. In the backyard, paint was peeling off the art wall, the rattan binding was coming off the outdoor furniture, the floor was rotted coming in the house from the backyard. The owner was somewhat communicative. A handle fell off in the shower - I notified owner and sent picture, but never received a response. Also, our dog passed away several weeks before our stay (we had paid a pet deposit). We informed the owner several weeks before coming and they would help initiate a refund, but we're still waiting on a response (it's been almost three weeks).

Comfortable and well put together
Our oldest son moved to North Carolina 2 years ago and due to the pandemic we hadn't been able to visit, we finally all had some time off at the same time, so I looked for rentals in the Raleigh Durham area, I loved the modern feel to this house while staying comfortable,, the hosts were very accommodating and booking was simple. We arrived and everything was as listed, the house was very tidy and spacious, we cooked some great dinners and had lots of laughs, the beds were comfortable, and bathrooms were spa like, I think this area will definitely be an up and coming area, neighbors are close but overall quiet not a overly busy street

Large and pretty home good for a family
The house looks good but had several issues. There was an ant infestation problem in the master bedroom. The faucet in the kitchen leaked, and the clothes washer was full of mildew and smelled bad.

Mark literally thought of everything a guest might need! The house is well stocked, extremely clean and super cozy. The location is very convenient to NC State, Duke and Chapel Hill. Charming Bungalow in Durham
Lovely 3 bedroom bungalow in quiet neighborhood. The property is as charming as pictured with fully stocked kitchen and Kuerig coffee maker and coffee. The counter is as pretty as pictured! The rooms were clean and there are plenty of extra towels and linens. Many other nice touches such as the dining table set up, books, and games. I wish the January weather had been a bit warmer so we could have used the large back porch and fire pit.

This older home has been tastefully and beautifully renovated. The open concept was perfect for our family to cook a holiday meal and hang out without feeling crowded or separated. The outside space is equally as nice. Huge deck and firepit were extras we totally enjoyed.

Great House
We stayed here on a short trip (3 days) to Durham and had a great stay. Tops of the list are the beds, which maybe are the most comfortable that I can remember in any of the VRBOs I have stayed in over the years. The rest of the house is also very well set up - particularly the really well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Mark was super responsive the few times we had questions and was a great host. Will definitely look to book here again next time we come to the Durham area.
