It smells like smoke everywhere, you can't escape it. I sprayed My room down at arrival and it still had this old, dirty, smoke smell. Almost reminds me of the indoor Vegas smell.

This place was awesome exactly what i was looking for in a stay. The location is perfect around restaurants, fuel and malls. The staff was very friendly from check-in to checkout. I highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to Durham NC. In fact I'm booking my stay there for next years event. I wanna thank the entire staff at the Sonesta Durham located US54 yoi guys rock and stay solod and hopefully see you guus soon.

Great location
The hotel was last minute booking. The check-in was easy and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Everything seemed clean, but you could tell that the property was "dated"- room just had an old feeling- could be updated. However, it served the purpose, and i was not unhappy.
