Then bring everyone together in the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area for shared delicious holiday meals. Set in relaxing rural surroundings, only a 5-minute drive away from the Ohakune Mountain Road, you'll be at the ski field car park in just 25 minutes. When you're not up the mountain enjoying the snow, try your hand at a horse trek with Ruapehu Homestead Horse Treks located just around the corner. Ohakune's cafes, bars and local shops are also close by when you need supplies or don't feel like cooking.
