Il Casone is an original Ligurian country house from the 18th century, tastefully restored by its French-German owner in spring 2006. The 2-storied building in the midst of olive groves, looking over green slopes and at a baroque church has two independant units: the here described Piano Sportivo with 2-4 sleeps at the rear of the building with a little terrace and a patio and in the front of the house the unit Piano Nobile. at the rear on the second floor (2-4 sleeps) with a little terrace and a patio. Thus apt for a maximum of 8 persons (XXL family or friends who want to enjoy holidays toghether, but stay in their own apartments.
To reach Il Casone you have to leave your safely parked car at the mainroad and climb up on an old paved stonepath for about 5 minutes. This may be a little bit annoying at first sight, but you will see: it´s a stairway to heaven!
The fully fenced property is surrounded by 850 m2 of 'fasce' with typically Ligurian dry walls, seecular olive trees and various fruit-trees.
The country house ' Il Casone ' is ideal for a sporty-active vacation, but also for who desires relax and contemplation. Cooking addicted people can prepare their own Pesto with in-house basil. At (rare!) rainy days the well equipped library lures with books in different languages. Feel free to feel at home in this enchanting 'coin' of Liguria is the wish of the house owner, a French German travel journalist, who has prepared for her guests a lot of inside-information for unforgettable holidays.
