Custom Rustic Timber Frame Cabin nestled on 6 acres near Spring Canyon. Enjoy peaceful mornings and quiet nights on the large wrap around deck observing the wildlife, forest setting, and crisp air off the canyon. The Rustic Cabin nestled in a serene area conveniently located close to Rapid City and popular local attractions. The cabin is 10 minutes from downtown Rapid City, 15 minutes from Mount Rushmore, and 40 min from Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, and the northern hills attractions. There is an abundance of wildlife that roam the area to include Big Horn Sheep, Wild Turkeys, and Deer. There truly is no place like Spring Canyon in the Black Hills that offers the conveniences of town a short distance away!

The Rustic Cabin is new construction available Summer/Fall of 2022! The cabin is 1200 Sq Ft. and built with local Black Hills Timbers and granite counter tops. The cabin has a wood burning indoor fireplace, a large deck with fire pit , and a wrap around porch perfect for a peaceful cup of morning coffee!

The cabins will be rustic with all modern conveniences! There will be nothing like it in the Black Hills! Book Today!

The Perfect Cabin for Rapid City
The cabin was outstanding in both the location and amenities. Located just outside of Rapid City it was an easy drive to all of the sites and even downtown for dinner. The property has a beautiful view with deer visiting us each day. The cabin was fully stocked with all that you need to cook inside or outside. There are two coffee makers to utilize, one Keurig and one standard pot for drip coffee. Evenings were perfect for either sitting on the front porch or taking a break in the hot tub after a day out. We did have our dog with us. Walking each morning was a great start as we traveled a long the road or a quick walk around the mowed area of the property. We would definitely stay here again.

What a cool place
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin. The location was very peaceful and natural. We saw deer roaming around every day and a fox hunting in the yard one day. The cabin was very charming and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The place was super clean and so unique! We loved all of the wildlife that we saw sitting on the deck in the morning and evenings. It was the perfect get away.

My family and I enjoyed our stay so much! Everything was neat and clean when we arrived. It is beautiful and updated with so many amenities. It had everything we needed and more. The kitchen and heated bathroom floors are amazing! Beds were very comfortable. Lots of indoor and outdoor games to enjoy. We loved seeing all the wildlife in the yard and how peaceful the property the was. Drinking coffee in the morning and watching the deer roam was our favorite. We loved this cabin and hope to stay again in the future!

We decided to come to South Dakota before my school year started and my boyfriend has never really seen mountains before since we live in Illinois. I wanted to give him that experience so what better place than to visit Mount Rushmore and the state parks. Browsing through some cabins I came across this one and I confidently will say that this was one of the best cabins Ive rented. Absolutely spotless when we arrived. They have almost all the little amenities you can think of from plates, coffee mugs, silverware, both types of coffee machines, a bucket with some sports equipment which we did play a little bit of whiffle ball in the field. The cabin as a whole was very cozy and peaceful with plenty of deers and turkeys cutting through the property. I would without a doubt rent this cabin again. It was perfect and driving distance from the popular towns and parks (Deadwood, Rushmore, Custer, Windcave, etc.)

Badlands no way they should be called the good lands !
Property was beautiful. kitchen and entertainment tv etc were top notch easy to use and well equipped . The views from within the house were stunning . We experienced a lightning storm while staying here and it was amazing sights while safe and cozy in house . The property in centrally located to endless regional attractions for both outdoors activities , hiking cycling , and historical attractions, Custer etc. Recommend hiking Black Elk Peak . Start early it can get hot . We will be back next year Rusty

Perfect Modern Cabin close to everything, but secluded.
We were thrilled with this cabin! Had EVERYTHING we needed and so comfortable and charming. So helpful that our dog was allowed. We saw deer and numerous rams pass through the field right by the house! When storms blew in, we sat on the deck, under covered porch, and just took it all in! Everything we needed was supplied. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was so clean! The furniture and beds were comfortable. We loved the long and winding drive through the trees and hills to get to it and we loved how remote it was. We would stay here again in a minute. Any questions I had or any communication with the property owner was quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

This little cabin was such a fun stay! It had everything you needed and made you feel warm, cozy & right at home! The outside deck was awesome for morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Property is in a great location, very private and great scenery. The deck is a great place to relax and drink your morning coffee before visiting the Black Hills. House is set up very nicely and had everything we needed! We would definitely recommend this place to friends!

Fantastic cabin!
The cabin is absolutely amazing and the amount of amenities was even better. First off the cabin and surrounding property was easy to find and navigate. The location was a bit far from all of the must see attractions, but still worth the solitude it’s location provided. The cabin was “stacked” with all the amenities any traveler would need even board games, books, ziplock bags, etc. The cabin was super clean and spacious and the amazing wood work was perfect. The coolest thing about the cabin were the unique door locks on all the doors, you’ll see what I mean when you get there. My only criticism would be that one bedroom should have a king size bed for the adults. We unfortunately did not see any wildlife because we were so busy trying to fit in all the sights. I do wish we had more time in the cabin to enjoy it and cook some s’mores on the fire pit. Great stay!
