Is an ancient Tuscan farmhouse located in a panoramic position recently restructured by the owners without altering the original architectural features. The current structure is typical of the Tuscan farm of the late eighteenth century. Both home-made and agricultural use today welcome comfortable apartments for visitors.
The great antique stone oven of the late nineteenth century was still intact, where the bread was baked and the game and roasts were cooked on holiday days.
The panorama is characterized by holm oaks, oak and maples, olive groves and vineyards of the estate of San Gimignanello and the Crete Senesi.
It is located inside the municipality of Rapolano Terme (SI), until the 1970s it was part of the great estate of the Castle of San Gimignanello, one of the feudals of the Counts of the Scialenga, Lords of Asciano, dating back to the year 1000.
A few kilometers away there are some of the most important historical-cultural and enogastronomic centers in Italy such as: Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, the Abbeys of Sant’Antimo and Monte Oliveto Maggiore, not to mention some of the most exclusive Thermal baths in the region like Rapolano Terme, Bagno Vignoni, Bagni S.Filippo and San Casciano dei Bagni.
ACCOMMODATION: Immediately adjacent to the barn there is Il Forno, also located on the ground floor and overlooking the courtyard, where bread was baked every day for the numerous families who lived in the farm. Even today, the wood oven is still intact in the center of the apartment.
The house is located on the ground floor and is made up of two double bedrooms, one of which is located in a mezzanine area using the enormous height of the room, and a small single bedroom. It also has two bathrooms, an equipped kitchen and a living room for your relaxation.
The house has a private outdoor space in the central courtyard of the Podere, fully furnished and illuminated.
