Coffee is available along with two coffee makers. one regular drip pot and one party perk for larger groups of people.

***Outdoor at the farm***

When you come to the farm we want you to enjoy every bit of it and you cannot do that without getting outside. To make your stay extra enjoyable we have an abundance of outdoor activities for you and your family and friends to enjoy.
Not only adults but children as well!

In the warmer months, the garage has Foosball, giant Jenga, bean bag boards, baseball/softball bats, balls/helmets, kids bikes, extra seating, and more!
Year-round we have a grill (complete with grill tools found inside) and a fire pit.

NOTE: THE GARAGE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PARKING IN THE WARMER MONTHS. THE GARAGE IS AVAILABLE FOR USE BUT IT IS FULL OF GAMES, SEATING, AND TABLES.

Winter:
We do have a non attached and NONheated garage to park one vehicle.
We also have two pairs of snowshoes available for your snowshoeing pleasure! Did I mention that you are surrounded by 100+ acres of beautiful farmland? Unfortunately, the land that we are on is fairly flat so there won't be any sledding available on the property but we will be sure to have some snow toys readily available. There are plenty of snowmobile trails just waiting for you. Trail maps will be available and there is plenty of room to park your sleds and vehicles with trailers.
Don t forget Welch Ski Village is just down the road!

Please note that we do not live on the property but we are a working farm. In the spring and the fall, there is a chance that you will see some farm equipment move about the property. If you are staying with us during planting or harvest we will make sure to be very clear about anyone coming on to the property and make sure that you are aware of farm equipment that may be moving around.

The location was perfect. The house was cute and cozy. The bedrooms were comfortable. The space for 10 people was awesome. The only issue was it was warm outside and somehow the boxelder bugs were getting into the house. I would stay here again if in cannon falls.

Great place... stepping back in time!
We had an excellent weekend... staying in the 'Farmhouse' as a springboard for a weekend of skiing at Welch Village. The house is setup perfectly to step back in time a few decades, and enjoy time with family and friends. The owner is also very responsive to answer questions. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy a couple days on the farm!

Weekend family gathering
This was a charming farm house and was a great weekend get away for our family. The house is well equipped for cooking - the additional room in the garage was a great space for the kids and the night sky was clear and provided amazing star gazing-:)

Nephew's wedding
Spent 2 nights at the Farmhouse. Just Mike and I the first night, very peaceful. Second night was after the wedding, my nephew and his family, my sister and her fiance and my 85 and 90 year old parents. Everything was perfect except we kept my parents on the main level so they didn't have to deal with steps and had their own bathroom with a walk in shower. Bonfire and game room last night. Only ding was the sofa bed my parents slept in. Too low and uncomfortable according to my parents and no hand rails in the walk in bathroom so my 90 dad took a pass on the shower. Otherwise, lovely hostess, lovely surroundings. My dad's big hit was a tin cover that had the initials and date of when he was in the military. Wish I could attach the picture.

Great place to gather!
The highlight of this property for our group was the ability to have everyone stay in one place AND enjoy our evenings outside under the stars sitting around a fire. We stayed here to attend a wedding held at the Woodhaven golf course 3 miles down the road. It was so convenient. It is a farm house and not a luxury hotel but that suited us just fine. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

channeling Siberia and pastoral America in Goodhue county
This is a place that conjured up Dr. Zhivago and American Gothic simultaneously. It's not a paradise (do either of the above speak of nirvana to you), but it was warm, spacious, and had majestic winter vistas from every window in the structure. We had 8 people there and we loved it despite the fact that it isn't a 2005-2020 Edina, MN build (i.e. it had some flaws, but they were insignificant compared to the overall pleasure we had staying there).

Farmhouse Stay
Our farmhouse stay was amazing. We were a group of ladies spending a few nights in this beautiful rural area of southeastern Minnesota enjoying the late August weather and local sights. The farmhouse was adorable, super clean and the kitchen well appointed. The outside garage provided something for everyone. It was filled with games and lots of seating. We loved the peace and quiet and beautiful sunsets. You’re only a short drive from Hastings, Cannon Falls, Red Wing, and Northfield (to name a few of the super cute towns nearby) and the difficult choice was deciding which direction to head. There are many great restaurant options - just "down the road". Kelsey was a great host, responding to our questions quickly and we arrived to find extra treats in the kitchen. Thanks for making our Minnesota trip so wonderful.

Perfect for Us
I rented the property for my daughters wedding weekend t the Cannon River Winery so we would have somewhere for the groomsmen to gather before the wedding. It was perfect . With the outdoor fire pit and the game room in the garage we had a gathering the evening before the wedding for the bridal party and family. The day after the wedding we had a brunch for family while the newlyweds opened gifts. It was the ideal spot for hosting gatherings during the wedding weekend.

Such a FUN time!
We had such a great time at The Farmhouse! Kelsey has really thought of everything with complimentary eggs, milk, bread and donuts as well as the awesome garage space for games and hanging out! We did have to wipe down the high touch surfaces when we arrived, besides that everything was wonderful.

This was a great private get away. Cook together, played games both inside and out. If so nice just.
This is a great quiet place to get away together. All the little touches, fruit on the counter, donuts on the table, games in the shed or in the cupboard. Definitely recommend

Lovely country get away
We had a lovely time at this house. It was clean, and had nice touches such as some fruit left out for us, eggs and milk in the fridge, and extra pillows and blankets readily available. We were so grateful during our summer stay that there were air conditioning units on the first floor, which kept it very cool downstairs, and also in 2 of the 4 bedrooms upstairs. The only thing I would recommend is adding 2 more units to the other bedrooms, as it was very warm in those non air conditioned rooms. There were stand up fans in those rooms, but those didn’t help all that much on the hot summer nights we were there. The garage was very fun to hang out in and play human sized jenga and foosball. I would point out that in the front room of the house, there is a chest that has toys in it as well as a cabinet with books in it for kids. We unfortunately didn’t discover those until the day we left. There was also a big bin of legos and a few toys on the landing heading to the basement that the kids enjoyed playing with. Plentiful board games in the cupboard in the kitchen area, and plenty of tea and coffee available in case you forgot to pick up some at the store. They also left some bathroom amenities in the upstairs bathroom cabinet if you forgot to pack those. We loved the charm of the old farm house, family photos, and nice decorative touches. Cannon Falls is a very short drive away for groceries, gas, and places to eat. We definitely will be back if we are up visiting that way again. Thank you for your hospitality.

We enjoyed our weekend at the Farmhouse and you couldnt find a better host than Kelsey! The home is well stocked with essentials and extras and provides much space to spend time together and apart. Farm house getaway
We had an amazing time at the the farm house. The interior is like walking back into your home. Fresh donuts, juice, milk and eggs stocked in the fridge. Let's not forget the coffee pot was ready to go! The garage was an added bonus with the big outdoor couch and games to play! Truly an amazing place. Close to town with plenty of choices for dining. We enjoyed kayaking down the river through the Welch kayak rental. It was beautiful. We also biked on the Cannon trail which was also lovely. Best of all only a 40 minute drive from our house, but it really felt like we got away. We would love to come back!
