The hotel is awesome! and so is the location ... the only problem for me was that there was no on-site parking ...some long term resident parking was available for people with permits but I was there for only 2 nights so not an option for me.

The hotel advertises on-site parking. We arrived after a long day driving and were told the parking was full, so we had to drive all over town to find a parking garage. The shower soap dispenser was empty and there was no shampoo in the room. The breakfast was also mediocre. Small details, but I expected better for the amount we paid.

Ideal stay for hot summer days

Air conditioned hotel walking distance from old town Regensburg making it ideal for summer stays. Air conditioning available at a hotel here seems rare. Great breakfast spread. Very limited parking that requires call ahead reservation.

In love with Hotel Jakob

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. They were great! The hotel room we stayed in was 201. It was such a beautiful room. The windows opened up to the street that was busy but quite. Every morning we could hear the beautiful church bells. The staff was so sweet and kind. They did everything for us. Gave us ice and directions. They breakfast was nice. Only bad thing is there parking is a huge 15 euros a day! Or you can park across the street for 11 euros a day. Both in my opinion is expensive. Do yourself the favor and stay at this perfect hotel if your in Regensburg! And everything is close and in walking distance.
