The location of this hotel was excellent because it was within walking distance of the beach and various restaurants and other eateries. The hotel itself is adequate, it has few frills. The breakfast room is clean and has the usual breakfast food. The staff is friendly and helpful. Some things need improvement: the bathroom tub needs replacing and the mattress needs a mattress pad.

The bathroom fixtures were pitted and rusted. There did not seem to be enough staff around. Those that were around were fantastic! The pool area was not clean and staff never came to check on the area for towels, chairs, and parents poorly monitoring their small children. The Breakers would not be a go-to place for me again. It is a glorified old motel that needs updating. It was loud, had terrible parking, and the balconies truly do need a good cleaning. The continental breakfast was adequate. Overall, not a great room for the price and there are better hotels that have clean pools.

Had a great stay at the Breakers Hotel. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning and the indoor pool. My room was very clean and had a nice balcony, but unfortunately it gave a view of the parking lot even though my reservation said “lake view”. All common areas were very clean as well. The staff was very friendly. Please note that if it rains, the hotel shuttle to and from the beach will not run. I found out the hard way after myself and child were already at the beach (took the shuttle there) and it began to rain- when I called for a pickup, they said it wasn’t operating and was shutdown for the day, but that info was not shared with me upon check in or when dropped off at the beach. Overall, the Breakers is a great place to stay and I will be back!

Was a last minute booking and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. They even had a golf cart that ran you down to the beach/boardwalk and back during the day. Wasnt expecting that. Everyone was super friendly. Staff cleaned and made up the room every day wonderfully.

Overall, our stay was great! The water tanks were repeatedly out of order during our stay which was a bit frustrating and the vending machines took our money several times. However, the room was clean, quaint, and the service was great. It is such a convenient location for the beach and the main stretches of Rehoboth so I’d definitely stay again.

This is our third stay at The Breakers, it used to be a great place to stay in Rehoboth but sadly I don’t think my family and I will stay again. The room had a musty smell, the bathroom had the worst smell. The people staying next to our room would have these screaming fights in the middle of the night. They could offer better food for breakfast. The staff at the front desk were nice but this hotel is not what it used to be.
