This cabin was better in person which is usually the opposite of what you expect from photos! It had everything we needed as far as towels, pots and pans, utensils, and more. Even the fridge was stocked with some condiments! I like that Brian greeted us when we arrived and took us to the property. He showed us how to use the hot tub and door lock. As can be seen from photos, there are a lot of stairs so if you have a hard time getting around keep that in mind. However, I liked the “treehouse” feel of the cabin so didn’t mind the stairs at all. My favorite thing to do was sit on the porch in the mornings and evenings and listen to nature. It was so peaceful! We made a fire in the pit, I loved that wood was provided and a bucket for water to extinguish it. When it rained we would get a movie from the office and sit on the cozy couch to watch. The kids enjoyed climbing to the loft and also enjoyed playing cards that were available in the desk. They also loved sleeping in the bunk beds. We all used the hot tub every day, it was so nice to have! The area was remote but we had plenty of close things to do which we chose hiking and rafting the Hiwassee, both of which I highly recommend! We all loved this cabin, it’s coziness and uniqueness. We were all sad to have to leave. Book it, you won’t be disappointed!
