Villa Sugar is approved by Greek Tourism Organization with license number: 1041K10003174201 & managed by "etouri vacation rental management".
Located in a great location only 2 km away from the long sandy beach of Episkopi and in a walking distance away to all king of shops, the one-storey 200 sq. m villa melds its traditional stone built house facade with a strikingly modern addition and offers the best comforts to our guests. It can accommodate 8 people in beds and up to 10 people if it is necessary.

Indoor layout

Entering the villa and as you go through the hallway there are 4 air-conditioned bedrooms and the main bathroom with shower. Two of the bedrooms are with 2 single beds which can be converted to a king size bed and the other two are with a king zise bed. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, one with shower and the other with a Jacuzzi bath. Then there is a hall with a sofa and office desk.

After the hall there is a spacious open plan area consisting of the living room with a large sofa, a 55" HDTV and Playstation 5. An impressive panoramic floor-to-ceiling window from the living room area leads you to the outdoor terrace, garden and pool. Next to the open plan living room area there is a fully equipped kitchen of top quality fixtures and appliances with a dining table.

The villa has an ecological under-floor cooling system throughout the house which can make the whole house cool faster than any air condition. Also because of the stone made construction the house can keep the same temperature both day and night.

Outdoor area

The beautifully landscaped outdoor area of the villa offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation.

More specifically our outdoor facilities include:

?- 50 sq. m ecological infinity heated swimming pool with child pool. The pool is ecological and it can also be heated upon request, with an additional daily charge. (Please note that the pool heating can be used upon advance request for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice).
- Fully equipped barbecue area

- An outdoor dining table under a pergola with views to the pool and the surrounding landscape?

- A variety of furnished spots (with sun beds, umbrellas and outdoor sofas) for relaxing in the terrace and the garden around the villa

FABULOUS
Our family of 6 adults had a fantastic time at Villa Sugar. The villa is very spacious, very clean and well designed with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your holiday. The swimming pool is brilliant and the views from the villa are stunning, especially when watching the sun set over the sea and the mountains. There is an excellent supermarket within 100 metres and at least two restaurants you can walk to from the villa. Andreas, the owner is brilliant. His knowledge of the area and his genuine desire to ensure you have a great time is outstanding. Thank you

5 star luxury holiday at Villa Sugar
We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Villa Sugar. The accommodation is beautifully presented, a real wow factor place. We were 2 families of 4. It was the perfect size for us. Plenty of space to relax inside and outside. The infinity pool, with the views of the sea and mountains is something we will never forget. The supermarket next door stocks everything you need. The is a fab taverna in the village that also does takeaways, we ate there 3 times and couldnā€™t fault it. The village, Episkopi is very pretty and everyone we met was really friendly. We travelled to nearby Georgioupoli and had a swim (on the cold beach where the river meets the sea) it was wonderful. The fish restaurant next to this beach was fantastic. Andreas looked after us so well, leaving us cakes, figs, home made olive oil, and helped us sort out taxis. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return!

We loved the villa.The most stunning views across the white mountains. Surrounded by a local olive plantation.The village is beautiful with several tavernas within walking distance. Our host was brilliant, bringing gifts of cake and olive oil. He reccomended places to visit and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Holiday!
Stayed for 1 week at this amazing property. There is nothing that this villa doesnā€™t have! Andreas (the owner I believe) was very helpful, friendly and accommodating! The view is incredible and the sunsets are even better. We did not have a hire car so remained in the villa for our trip but you can walk 15 minutes to a Tavern called Kactus which has a varied menu. They also do delivery so you donā€™t have to leave if you donā€™t want to. There is a shop (1 minute walk) that has everything you need. The beach is too far to walk (especially in August heat) but this did not affect our trip. Once again, beautiful villa and Iā€™d recommend anyone visiting to stay here!!

Great view great location
We were a group of five adults and stayed a week in early May. The location of thebilla is ideal to explore Chania, Rethymno, and surrounding area. There is easy access off the main highway and the villa is located in a village largely untouched by mass tourism. There are tavernas within walking distance, there is an excellent supermarket next door, and there is a butcher, fishmonger and bakery in the village. Episkopi beach is lovely and only a short drive from the villa. The villa itself is comfortable with climate control in each room. Comfortable beds and above all an amazing terrace with a breathtaking view that you would never tire of looking at. The host Andreas is communicative and helpful and quick to respond to any question. Lovely touches su h as gifts of cretan cake and local herbs and olive oil made us feel welcome. I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Sugar and would gladly return agIn.

Great long weekend with friends
Amazing time with friends, host was really helpful and talked us through everything at the property upon arrival. Pool was heated for a reasonable charge which really helped in the early summer months. Host arranged all our travel between the airport. The shop was literally next door and allowed us to use their trolleys to move large shops to and from the property. Lots of stuff to do in the house, table tennis, table football, pool games, bbq etc. perfect for a group of friends who want to spend some time in a small town!

Villa Sugar was everything we had hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, Andreas made us feel extremely welcome and was on hand throughout our whole stay if we needed anything. This was our first trip to Crete and Villa Sugar was the perfect base. The location is ideal, being only 5 minutes drive from the beach or a short walk up into the village where you will find tavernas and cafes. Rethymno is only a short drive away if you want a bit more of a city feel, with its waterfront bars and boutique shops. After a busy day exploring the surrounding areas, there was nothing better than coming back to the Villa to watch the sun go down, the sunsets were quite simply out of this world. We cannot recommend Villa Sugar enough and we really hope that weā€™ll be able to visit the beautiful island of Crete again really soon.

The owner is so welcoming. Showed us around and how everything works. He had left us a homemade cake, coffee and bread. Sent us links and places to visit and see. There is nothing you could need for your stay thatā€™s not there. Thereā€™s even a hair wond/curler! The pool area is nothing short of stunning. We ate outside most evening to watch the sunset. The odd occasion we ate out we were actually gutted we missed it. Its right next to the super market which is stocked with everything. The beach is a 25 min walk down hill (we always got a cab back) Up the hill are some amazing restaurants and itā€™s worth walking up a bit further to really see the village in all its glory. We are already planning our next stay.

Gorgeous views and pool!
We were a multi-generational family group of seven that stayed for a week at this beautiful villa. The villa is spacious and looks exactly like the photos. The veranda, pool and views make it a showstopper. The Etouri Management company was extremely helpful in recommending activities and we really enjoyed the full-day catamaran cruise from a company in Bali. (The Skippersā€™ captain was so incredibly patient with my 85 year old father and three teenagers of various swimming skills and differing levels of anxiety over getting in the water.). Andreas, the owner was also so helpful and sorted out a shower chair for my father and dropping off presents during our stay. The grocery store is conveniently located just across the road and has everything your could need with very friendly staff. We visited the beach and had lunch a few times at Kymou which was great. All in all we all wish we could have stayed longer and canā€™t wait to return!

Amazing Villa
We have recently returned from our 2 week stay at Villa Sugar. We had such a lovely time and were so well looked after. The villa was stunning as was the view and nothing was too much trouble. There were regular cleans with fresh bedding and towels and always a gift of something yummy left by Andreas after the cleaners had been. Episkopi beach is around 2km away and is also beautiful and clean with lots of tavernas...Rockas was our personal favourite. Trips and cabs can all be arranged through the villa management company who are more like personal assistants...a big thank you to Eleni, Robert and Kostas at Etouri...honestly made us feel like VIPs. There are a couple of fairly local restaurants that also deliver to the villa so that can be handy. There is also a supermarket right next door with plenty to offer. The villa is in a great, quiet location with beautiful views & sunsets, we would definitely return. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Fantastic, spacious villa that never felt overcrowded, even with our party of 6 adults and 2 children. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable beds and a kitchen fitted with every implement you could ever need! The views are truly amazing and the whole area is just so peaceful and relaxing, we would return in a heartbeat! Andreas is most helpful and the food and wine gifts left for us were deliciousšŸ˜€ Episkopi village is delightful, Greece how it used to be, and only a short distance to Rethymnon if you want some hustle and bustle; we tried it one day but were eager to return to the stunning Villa Sugar! A thank you to Kostas at Etouri for answering my many questions prior to our holiday; we were travelling with a baby and a toddler and wanted to ensure everything would be in place for them - it was!! You will not be disappointed at Villa Sugar!!

In Dorfrandlage gelegen, mit benachbartem Supermarkt und fuƟlƤufig gelegenen Tavernen. Alle RƤume in Naturstein mit z.T. hochwertiger Ausstattung. Sehr gute Betten aber leider nur kl. SpĆ¼lmaschine. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse mit Pool auf Berge, Olivenhaine und das ca. 3 km entfernte Meer ist sensationell und sucht seinesgleichen. Zum Abschied schenkte uns Andreas Olivenƶl und Rosmarien....er gab uns auch tolle Tipps. Ein gut sortierte Supermarkt liegt direk neben dem Haus- sehr praktisch! In einer halben Stunde kann man zu Fuss zum Meer. In 10 Minuten an einer netten Taverne im Ort. Ein sehr schƶner Ort ohne Touristenrummel....

In unserem Urlaub hat alles perfekt geklappt. Von der Abholung am Flughafen mit Autodiffrent, der Automiete bis zum herzlichen Empfang von Andreas. Das Haus ist in einem schƶnen, sehr sauberen Zustand. Das Internet hat einwandfrei und schnell funktioniert. Der Lebensmittelladen der 20m entfernt ist, war super. Der hat ein grosses Angebot. Andreas hat uns Ć¼ber die ganze Zeit per Whatsapp sehr gut informiert und viele Empfehlungen betr. Tavernen gegeben. Der Tischtennistisch wurde fleissig genutzt! Ein kleines Manko gab es: Die Abwaschmaschine ist extrem klein. Und wir waren nur zu 4. da. Mit mehr Personen wird da mind. 2x/Essen abgewaschen. Und ein Esstisch im Inneren wƤre auch noch gut. Aber wie gesagt, das ist nur ein kleines Manko. Wir empfehlen diese Villa zu 100% weiter!!

la villa est juste sublime avec une vue Ć  couper le souffle. Nous Ć©tions entre neige et mer au mois d'avril.car vue sur les montagnes et sur la mer . Une petite supĆ©rette bien sympa se trouve Ć  50 m mais la villa reste trĆØs calme. Excellent accueil, les locataires sont vraiment trĆØs gentils et Ć  l'Ć©coute de vos besoins. Les citronniers dans le jardin apportent dĆØs l'entrĆ©e une note exotique. Aucune hĆ©sitation Ć  recommander cette location.

Perfect villa for 8 persons, in best location
We had 2 perfect weeks in Villa Sugar and Episkopi, it's simply not possible to have it better. The villa is completely equipped with everything, and the location is unbelievable: On the outside terrace and pool area you have this most beautiful view to the sea (it's impossible to describe, simply check the pictures), and on the other side you have the supermarket in 1-minute walking distance, nice taverns in Episkopi, and just 3 minutes per car to the perfect sandy beach. It's also a very good starting point to explore the nearby cities Rethymno and Chania, and also visit the south of Crete. We also had a lot of fun with the table soccer and ping pong and other games we found in the villy. For every question we had there was immediate and extremely friendly support from Etouri and Andreas, and also nice starter packages for the vacation. With that it was a completely relaxing stay in the villa. Thanks again to all of you! ;-)

Top-Ferienhaus mit Meerblick & Olivenhaine
Das Ferienhaus: Das Ferienhaus verfĆ¼gt Ć¼ber eine traumhafte Terrasse mit Infinitypool und atemberaubenden Ausblick Ć¼ber die Olivenhaine bis hin zum Meer. Berge im Hintergrund geben diesen fantastischen Ausblick einen unvergesslichen Rahmen. Zur Unterhaltung, sollte neben dem Ausblick noch Zeit dafĆ¼r sein, gibt es zwei moderne LED-TVs mit SAT-AnschluƟ, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Wii, Bluetoothboxen fĆ¼r euer Smartphone und diverse Spiele und BĆ¼cher. Die KĆ¼che ist zweckmƤƟig und vollstƤndig ausgestattet. Uns hat es in der einen Woche an nichts gemangelt. Es gibt alle Ć¼blichen HaushaltsgerƤte (z.B. Cerankochfeld mit Backofen, Mikrowelle, SpĆ¼lmaschine, Toaster, Kafeemaschine und KĆ¼hl-Gefrierkombination) die vollstƤndig funktionieren. SƤmtliche Reinigungsmittel und Zubehƶr sind ausreichend vorhanden. Lediglich an Lagermƶglichkeiten hapert es ein wenig im KĆ¼chenbereich. Die Terrasse verfĆ¼gt Ć¼ber 6 Sonnenliegen, 4 Sonnenschirmen, einem Essplatz mit 8 SitzplƤtzen, einem Grill sowie einer Tischtennisplatte und Kickertisch. Bewertung: 5 Sterne Zustand des Hauses: FĆ¼r ein stark ausgelastetes Ferienhaus ist das Haus in einem sehr guten Zustand und wirkt sofort einladend und gepflegt. NatĆ¼rlich findet man bei genauerer Betrachtung Abnutzungserscheinungen, die aber in keiner Weise stƶren oder das GefĆ¼hl von ā€žabgewohntā€œ vermitteln. Bewertung: 4,5 Sterne Kontakt zum Vermieter Der Buchungskontakt wird Ć¼ber eine Agentur auf Kreta abgewickelt. Kostas hat alle unserer Fragen im voraus kompetent und schnell auf englisch beantwortet. Die Ɯbermittlung der Buchungsinfos erfolgte ebenfalls rasch und komplikationslos. Vor Ort wurden wir direkt von Andreas, dem EigentĆ¼mer des Ferienhauses, betreut. Er begrĆ¼ĆŸte uns herzlich bei der Ankunft und erklƤrte uns alles im Haus. AuƟerdem schaute er einmal zur Mitte der Woche, um den Pool zu reinigen und zum Ende der Woche, um uns persƶnlich zu verabschieden, vorbei. Andreas, der ebenfalls sehr gut englisch spricht, ist sehr engist sehr engagiert und auf das Wohlergehen seiner GƤste bedacht. Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit, wie fast Ć¼berall auf Kreta, wird groƟ geschrieben. Zusammenfassung Das Ferienhaus Ć¼berzeugt mit seiner Ć¼berragenden Aussicht und der Betreuung vor Ort.
