The rooms are clean but on the small side for each category. Unmanned but easy to contact staff on intercom. Major issue was the bathrooms, they have sliding doors but the gap is not tight and there is a total lack of privacy. To make it worse, there is a circular gap as a door handle, so sound can transmit easily! Even in an established relationship, we need some privacy! Also, the sliding doors allow a lot of light through, so if your room companion needs to use the toilet in the middle of the night then this light wakes both people up. Complained to hotel after first night, they were rapid to response to this and very kindly moved to an alternative room where the bathroom wasn’t right next to the bed, but still the same issue with lack of privacy with the gap in the sliding bathroom door and translucent glass. About 5 minutes walk to various bus stops, but other hotels are slightly closer to the main city street.

This place was lovely!! It was extremely walkable with tons of dining options around. The only downside was the bathroom. The door was frosted glass, so didn’t allow for much privacy. Otherwise, amazing stay!

Very cute room with all that a family needed. It’s outside of downtown in a more residential area, but that made parking easier if their doves are filled. Bakery on first floor is excellent. Kitchenette was a wonderful convenience. Room was newly renovated and well designed. Asked for early check in via text but never heard back (not sure I got the international number right though in all fairness).

Great value, comfortable stay
Close to restaurants, coffee and other amenities within walking distance. Excellent shower and impressive kitchenette. The bed was a twin size (smaller than I expected). The hotel is over a bakery which has activity (loud) below starting around 6am. Ok for me as I was up early, but if you’re a light sleeper could be an issue. Overall, great stay.

Good hotel nearby Reykjavik (10-15min walk). Good comms. despite no reception at the hotel. It's well priced. Also make sure to check out Brikk coffee & pastry shop underneath the hotel.

This hotel was good for short days vacations but I don't recommend if you going to stay more than 3 days. They didn’t clean the room and for all the tours we have to walk to a bus stop because any company pick up at the hotel. Otherwise good for small family or couples and for short stays.
