Cozy and convenient
I loved this little cabin for the super convenient access to timberline. 25 minutes away. It's also close to some great hikes and hot springs! The cabin itself was very cozy and had everything you could need, besides food and water. Plenty of blankets and pillows, all kitchen appliances work. The bed was comfortable! Overall super easy and awesome place to stay.

Perfect location!
The cabin was just as expected, and a perfect location for what we planned to do. We had a very comfortable stay. I didn't notice before we went that the driveway was along a somewhat busy road, but it wasn't a problem getting out. We would stay there again!

Garbage
Cleaning crew was still there when we arrived so we drove down the street for a few minutes came back at 4:05 and she was still there. She handed us the house key and left the trash bag outside. She had to come back for it 15 minutes later. Won’t be staying here again.

Great basic little spot
I grew up in this area, and we came back for a little visit. The place is a cozy little spot, great for a couple, it was summer and we stayed perfectly comfortable even with high Temps. The only problems we encountered were the shower is a little tricky, it's a tankless water heater and it does get very hot, and once you find a comfortable temp there's barely any water coming out of the shower head. Also the TV situation is awful, we spent two days trying to figure it out and gave up, so plan on finding something else for entertainment.

Comfy cabin. The heater, in the kitchen, doesn’t work, so bring firewood or a heater! The wood stove kept the place toasty. The cabin was well stocked and clean. The restaurants nearby were excellent and the people were so nice and friendly. We will definitely be back!!!

Cute. Little. Basic. Affordable. OMG that waters hot!!!
I was worried because a major storm was brewing at Mt. Hood… I could not for the life of me get in contact with the owner to double check if there was anything they could do if we couldn’t access it. None of the links or buttons to contact the owner were working on Vrbo. The customer service team didn’t speak a word of clear English, so I wouldn’t recommend staying there if you are worried about any storms coming in. I agree with what someone else said, the water was really shotty trying to get it not to burn your skin in the shower. Only BURNING hot, or cold. The property is right on the street so be careful with your dog if you bring one. Bring an axe and a headlamp because the fireplace is tiny and they only give you too large of cuts of firewood to burn. Also the wood outside is pretty well soaked in the winter. All in all, If u want to stay for one night and you need something cheap, with bare bones, it’s kind of cute for a couple(no more) to stay and live with the basics and get off the mountain to some place safe. Worth 300 bucks a night though, after taxes and fees etc though? Idk… I’d get something else honestly.

Some things missing
The cabin was in OK shape with the exception of the wood-burning stove which was in disrepair (the door seal was hanging loose and couldn't be wedged back in). On top of that there was no lighter or means of lighting a fire. There was also no flashlight or candles which would have come in handy when the power kept going out for hours at a time. Our first day the power went out for 6 hours due to the snows in the area and the cabin got pretty cold (the wood burning stove, when we got it closed and fired up put of almost NO HEAT which was very strange!). On the second day when the power went out again we decided that it wasn't worth staying due to the cold. While we realize weather cannot be controlled it would have been nicer if the wood-burning stove had not been in such bad shape and didn't seem to put off much heat. We also were unpleasantly surprised at the lack of matches, flashlight or candles. When the power was on the wall-heater was a complete mystery. In order to change the temperature it appeared that you had to turn it off and turn it on again. We liked the area and will likely return but not to this property.

Weekend Getaway
Cabin is very clean, well furnished, and easy to relax for a couple of days. While the space heater provided enough heat, the wood fireplace is a nice bonus for the cozy cabin. However, the wood box is locked up so be prepared to bring or buy your own wood.
