Peaceful cabin on the Flambeau River

This beautiful loft cabin includes 4 bedrooms, all with full-sized beds, 2 baths, a full kitchen, eating area, and living room as well as a reading area and south-facing sunporch. Sleeps 10. Tucked privately in the woods on the river, and yet Walmart and the rest of Ladysmith is only a few minutes away. Only a short 17 mile trip to recently expanded Christie Mountain in Bruce where you can ski, snowboard, and enjoy the tubing hills.

Amazing Cabin in the woods
The property was off the beaten path. Right off the river with a nice fire pit outside. Pictures don't do this cabin justice. It is amazing inside, fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom and half bath up stairs, very clean. My family will for sure rent again!!

Family vacation
The cabin is nestled nicely and a wooded area. It was so private and peaceful which is exactly what we all needed. We sure appreciated having four bedrooms spaced out. Being that said, you feel like you're out in the middle of nowhere, but local stores in town are just a short drive away. The fire pit was very large and accommodating for our group. It was nice to be able to do laundry and not have to bring it all home. The indoor washline in the basement came in handy after swimming. So many well thought out things available such as soap at the bathroom sinks. Just wish there was a way to make the staircase not squeak so bad so that those who were trying to sleep aren't woken up when those of us who stayed up late.

Nice Cabin on the Flambeau River
Lovely Cabin on the Flambeau River. Nice view of the river and a great fire pit. Cabin is very comfortable and well-furnished. Mom and I enjoyed our stay. Might visit again in the fall when the mosquitos are not so bad.

Lots of room, great living and outdoor spaces. Plenty of parking. Fabulous shower!! Beds a little hard for our backs but otherwise very comfortable home. Fully utilized the kitchen which was well equipped. Thank you for the coffee!!

This place far exceeded our expectations. The layout is perfect for a group staying together. It’s great to have a large table for meals, abundant seating, and beautiful views of the river. The backyard is a great bonus for games and a bonfire. Overall, very clean, has everything you need, and was one of my favorite VRBOs I have ever stayed at. Would totally recommend!

Great stay
The cabin was located right by the river but provided enough privacy for us. It is very convenient to a Walmart especially for any quick runs for things we forgot. It provided the perfect place to explore the surrounding towns and area. The cabin was very clean and the hosts were very responsive. Overall, it was a great stay. Thank you!

This was a beautiful property ! So thankful to have stayed here with my family. We skied at Christie and it was only a short and easy drive away from the cabin. The view from the river was incredible in the mornings. Thank you Shannon for a great stay! Hope to stay again next winter :)

Great girls weekend getaway
Exactly as described. Great location, loved watching the river flowing by. I expected to see some deer in the yard but didn’t. Either they were up earlier than I or they couldn’t be bothered by a bunch of senior citizens gawking at them.

They really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The place is secluded and beautiful yet 10 minutes max from Walmart. We stayed for a wedding and wished we had more time to enjoy the view and bonfire. I will be back so happy with our stay!!!
