Experience the simple life in one of Spring City's original pioneer homes. The Stone Cottage will take you back in time, and remind you what is truly important. Just a short one hour drive from Provo (or one hour, forty five min. from Salt Lake) yet you feel like you are worlds away.
Built in 1860, it was one of the first stone homes in the community. The mason was paid “a young steer and 2 dollars a day” to lay the thick stone walls, and the cottage has retained its sense of history and permanence. Yet it has been recently restored, and enjoys all the modern conveniences that we expect today.
With the original wood plank floors and 2-foot thick stone walls, you will be charmed by the history in the cozy living room. It is like stepping back in time, and will make for a memorable stay in one of the loveliest towns in the country.
Enjoy our small, but hardworking kitchen, which is fully equipped for cooking delicious meals for your small group. You will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable, so you can focus on exploring the town, hiking & rock climbing Maple or Spring City Canyons, Golfing at Palisades Park, or taking part in the community events.
The cottage has one large bedroom, a bathroom and a washer & dryer for your convenience. It is the perfect size for a couple's get-away, or for a small family - and has all you need for your perfect escape. Relax, breath and take in this beautiful historic town, the art, and all the charm it has to offer.
The Stone Cottage is one of three homes at Spring Farm - for large groups, rent them together, or find our Spring Farm website for more information.
