I was pleasantly surprised how clean this hotel was. Location was great. It was close to a new shopping center and about 10 mins from the heart of Richmond. The bed was very comfortable and that they provide full size dove brand shampoo, conditioner, and lotion in their rooms ( major plus for me )

We needed a hotel near U of Richmond and this HI Express was close to the Antique mall and nice restaurants. Even though it room was next to the elevator we couldn't hear a thing. The beds were comfortable.

Michael was fantastic at check in let us check in early. Room was very nice and clean, shower got nice and hot, plenty of towels, bed was comfortable, breakfast was really nice with lots of options. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this property.

A Good Stay
The check in guy was pleasant and efficient. The room was clean and attractive. We liked the pergola-style flooring. Mattress was too soft. Breakfast was out of fruit by 8 am. Traffic noise not really an issue, the location was convenient to the downtown.

There was a dog barking in a Room at 4:30 am each morning for about an hour. The floor looked trashed and un clean but the room was clean.
