Do not stay at this hotel
Do not stay here! Bug found in the bathroom, loud in the hallway at all hours and obvious smoking on the floor at a non-smoking hotel. The breakfast was lacking too. Also the front desk was not helpful. Do yourself a favor and go stay at a nicer hotel.

There were roaches in the room
We have stayed here before and returned hoping for the same experience. For the price, the cleanliness was awful. The hallway smelled like dirty diapers. My bathroom light wasn’t working when we checked in, but it did get fixed the next morning. The breakfast is not good. Gas station food. Ended up getting breakfast elsewhere every day. The worst part though, the room had roaches. I was with a group and discovered it wasn’t just my room, we all found them. We won’t be returning next year.

We stayed in a junior suite for 3 days during a sports tournament. It was nice to have two rooms when we needed time apart and with one night owl who always stays up late. I thought the room size was good. The furniture was serviceable but showed wear. The hotel is located in a parking lot of a mall. There was not a lot of green space if you are traveling with a pet. There are multiple food options close by. Overall stay was average.

We stayed two nights and they didn’t clean our room at all. Keep asking for towels, toilet paper and no respond. Worst hotel ever for the price.

This is the second Thanksgiving we have spent at LaQuinta on Huguenot Road in Richmond while visiting our family. This was a very pleasant experience and we enjoyed our stay. Their pet friendly facility was clean and well maintained. The location is very convenient for us and we will probably be back next year.

Front desk clerk was not friendly at all. Calls after being checked in for over 2 hrs and said he made a mistake and had to change room. When leaving saw a roach on the doorseal. Very limited breakfast choices.

Ms. Dee does Customer Service Well
The front desk check in guy was not kind or friendly, I believe he gave me the worst room on the 4th floor right next to the maint shop. The next morning maint tech. had his work cart almost blocking our room door. Maint Tech was watching videos and very loud around 8:30 am - looked up never said hello or good morning. On the other hand Ms. Dee was kind, positive and greeted me every morning of our stay. Ms. Dee also enteracted with several guest at breakfast and asked each day if I needed something, was everything ok, etc. Great customer service from Ms. Dee! Lastly the mattress in room 428 was lumpy and sagged in the middle, very worn out. This mattress needs to be trashed!
