Chaletpark is situated in a unique location, easily accessible and in the middle of exceptional nature. This park under development is based on a lot of space around the chalets, beautiful water features and careful park design. All bungalows have a view of the pond.

This park is located at the foot of the Holterberg, part of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. In this National Park you can see the deer running in the morning, with a bit of luck observe stone martens and badgers and spot 75 species of birds. You can enjoy walking and cycling in the woods and heaths of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. There are also Nordic walking routes. This park is beautifully spacious and offers you the peace, space and tranquility of nature, to completely unwind.

The World Time Path around the Holterberg offers various hiking routes. Each route takes you through a different period of history. There are more than 2,000 signs along the route, stating facts from the year in question.

In the area there is a range of options for activities and day trips. Those who want to go shopping or make trips can visit the town of Rijssen (3 km) or the village of Holten (2 km) during the opening days.


This spacious holiday home is cozy and modernly furnished. The living room is cozy and fully equipped. You sleep comfortably in the wonderful double bed or in the fine single beds, under soft sheets. You will stay comfortably in the extension of the Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park, which will wake you up to the singing of the birds outside. This holiday home has a lot of outdoor space so that you can also enjoy being outdoors at your house. TIP: Order a regional breakfast with your booking! ☕️

Between the village of Holten and the city of Rijssen lies the beautiful National Park "De Sallandse Heuvelrug". From your accommodation you can cycle or walk straight into the rolling heaths and vast forests. This landscape with hills and large stones was created in the ice age. The most important hills are the Hellendoornseberg, the Haarlerberg, the Holterberg and the Koningsbelt. Nature is very diverse and special species live there, such as the almost extinct black grouse on the Sallandse Heuvelrug. You can spot them during hiking and cycling trips. You can cycle and walk without meeting anyone. The only real companion is the wind rustling through the trees.

The cozy village of Rijssen has many nice shops and renowned restaurants. The people have a Christian background and keep the Sunday rest alive. There are many original farms on the fertile lands around Rijssen, which give a good idea of how things used to be. On Monday morning there is a large, lively fabric market. In the area you can go cycling, canoeing, horseback riding or with a horse-drawn carriage or covered wagon through nature.

The tourist village of Holten is known for its small shops, markets, fairs and many activities for young and old in high season. You will find:

- Panoramic view over the nature of the Holterberg
- Canadian War Cemetery Holten, a piece of Canadian territory, where many soldiers are buried who liberated the Netherlands.

Cycling and walking through the beautiful nature of Twente and Salland starts at the Buitenplaats; the start and finish of cycling routes from 10 to 75 km. Special offers if you rent a bungalow:
- In the week of 3 to 6 July. You can participate in the Mölke Wandel4daagse for free. Every day we start from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and a new route of about 15 km is available. You can visit numerous sights along the way.
- In the week of August 28 to August 31. You can participate in the Mölke Fiets4daagse for free. The cycling tours start every day between 10 a.m. and 12 noon and a new cycling route of 35-40 km is available. You can visit numerous sights along the way.

GROUPS
If the reservation relates to a number of persons who must or can be considered together as a group, the person who makes the reservation must immediately and explicitly state this. The person who makes the reservation is jointly and severally liable for the fulfillment of all obligations, not only for himself, but for all registered members who are part of his group. Group accommodation is limited at Buitenplaats Holten. Groups must pay a deposit per group upon arrival at the reception for the rented accommodation (amount to be determined in mutual consultation).

YOUNG PEOPLE
Unaccompanied young people are not allowed in the rental properties or in the park.

COMPANY
Business bookings are not allowed. Recreational bookings only.

VISITORS
If you receive visitors, please report this to the reception and pay the visitor fee. We would like to point out that you are responsible for the behavior of your visitors. Visitors must leave the site by 10:30 PM at the latest. Visitors' cars are parked in the parking lot.

COMPLAINTS
Despite all the organization and care, you may have a complaint. You must report your comment or complaint immediately to the reception in order to resolve it. If the complaint is not resolved satisfactorily, you have the option of submitting a written complaint to the management within 14 days after departure from the holiday park, where the complaint will be thoroughly investigated.

LIABILITY
Buitenplaats Holten is not liable for: damage or injury as a result of a stay on our site; damage suffered through the use of the facilities present; damage claims for noise nuisance caused by third parties; oral or telephone information; the failure and/or non-use of facilities and/or facilities.

GENERAL RESERVATION
Prices include VAT. If this is changed, we reserve the right to adjust prices accordingly. Changes are reserved on all prices in this brochure. Errors or mistakes in this brochure are not binding on us. Furthermore, the Recron Terms and Conditions apply.

RESERVATION
You can reserve an object directly via the internet or by telephone at Buitenplaats Holten. You will receive your proof of reservation / invoice no later than 1 week after requesting the reservation. This proof of reservation is your proof of reservation. The rates take into account the available facilities and whether or not these facilities are used during the period that you stay at our campsites.

PREFERRED
If you have a preference for location, several bungalows next to each other or a specific number, we will be happy to help you where possible. The preferred costs are € 12.50 per booking.

PAYMENT
When booking, 50% of the rent must be paid. The remaining amount must be in our possession no later than one month before the start of the stay.

CANCELLATION
By participating in a cancellation insurance you can cover yourself against the costs of a possible cancellation. If you have not taken out insurance and you cancel the rented property, the cancellation rules apply in accordance with Article 6 of the Recron conditions, which are stated on www.buitenplaatsholten.nl or available at the reception. Cancellation insurance can be taken out up to two weeks after booking.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
On the day of arrival, the rented property can be occupied from 3 p.m. On arrival you will receive the key and other information that is important to you at the reception. On the day of departure, the rented property must be vacated no later than 10:00 am.

FINAL CLEANING
Your bungalow will be cleaned by us upon departure. All you have to do is leave your accommodation broom clean, do the dishes and clean the fridge. Fold the duvets on the beds and tuck the sheets into a pillowcase. You put the garbage bag in the container.

RESIDENCE
Maximum use and occupancy by the number of people for whom the accommodation is equipped. A complete inventory is available in the accommodation.
BED LINEN PACKAGE AND CHILDREN'S FURNITURE
Bed linen packages are ready upon arrival in your bungalow, cottage or caravan. If you want to change your bed during your stay, you can rent bed linen packages at the reception for € 7.50. This package consists of a fitted sheet, a bottom sheet and a pillowcase (single). The rental of children's furniture (camping bed high chair) is € 5 per period (specify when booking). You must bring your own duvet and bed linen for the camp bed.

CAR
A maximum of 1 passenger car may be parked at each rental accommodation or campsite. The other cars must be parked in the parking lot.

PETS
No pets are allowed in the park or in the accommodations.

Please note that young groups and parties are not allowed.
