The building itself is a very interesting piece of historic architecture that has been modernized to house this hotel/hostel-complex. I especially loved the breakfast buffet, close to the pool area which invites you to chill during the day but you can also get some remote-work done in the quiet areas with excellent wifi. Last nut not least, the staff is very welcoming and helpful! It's been an absolute pleasure! Muito obrigado!

Amazing location and wonderful breakfast. A gem away from the buzz and stress of the city that is also within walking distance from the Cosme Velho station heading to Christ the redeemer. Check-in was extremely slow - it took us more than one hour to get our room - but I guess it was due to the high season situation. I would definitely stay here again! Totally recommend it.

It’s was the worst experience ever staying at this hostel. It’s a place run by inexperienced staff, rude to the point of insulting the guests, offering bad quality food, bkfast with rotten fruits, no daily cleaning in the rooms, no face towels or soap in the washing basin. Fire alarm went off 5 times during the night till 4 am. Pool is used by non guests, rain water comes inside the room, no restaurants or shops nearby. Avoid this place !

O lugar é lindo, mas nos finais de semana fica impraticável. A praça em frente constantemente é usada para eventos da prefeitura, e aí não há onde estacionar, também não avisam o hóspede sobre o evento antes. Há também aniversários e o bar fica aberto ao público, o que dificulta bastante o atendimento. Alguns funcionários são extremamente solícitos e simpáticos, outros, nem tanto. Luísa do bar é a melhor, e a menina morena bonita de cabelo liso da recepção tb. Não há frigobar no hotel, é o bar fica muito longe dos quartos individuais. Também não há água, você tem que buscar no bar. A geladeira coletiva eh pequena, e fica longe tb. Cama excelente, ar condicionado também, chuveiro pode melhorar a pressão. Cuidado maior a limpeza externa, havia algumas baratas em áreas comuns perto dos quartos.

As áreas comuns até são boas. Porém, os demais quesitos foram bem decepcionantes: nos programamos para comer no hotel, mas o restaurante não tinha disponibilidade de quase nada do que estava no cardápio! A maior decepção foi o quarto. Cheiro forte de mofo, e as janelas do quarto que havíamos nos hospedados não abrem. Check in muito tarde. Infelizmente, tivemos que cancelar nossa hospedagem e ir embora devido ao cheiro de mofo e não ter outro quarto disponível para troca.

Hotel incrivel, funcionarios simpaticos e atenciosos, cafe da manha muito bom, a unica sugestao é melhora na iluminaçao do quarto. A luz do quarto vai na cara de quem esta deitado na cama e nao ilumina o movel em que ficam as malas e cabide. Minha estadia foi curta. Voltarei para aproveitar mais o hostel e a regiao.
