Beautiful stay
We stayed a couple nights so that we had a great landing place after exploring the redwoods for a few days. The home is immaculate and I could sit in the backyard for hours with the gorgeous landscaping! Comfy beds and wonderful to be able to do some laundry!

A beautiful house!
We totally enjoyed this place! Clean and comfortable house set on a cliff overlooking the Eel River in Rio Del. A small group of tall redwoods tower in the back yard, over a landscaped area with a walk path down to the fence where you can sit in the chairs and gaze down the cliff to the river. We spent a lot of the time in the 4 person hot tub! A lot of extra amenities and did i say clean?

Happy
Very cute, comfortable house. The hot tub was great. We had room for the whole family. There wasn’t A/C but it wasn’t a problem even on the hottest days. The house was well taken care of, nestled on an overlook of the river. The place didn’t disappoint. Rio Del was much smaller than I had thought, with not many options. We stayed for a hike and were able to do that from here just fine. Overall I loved the house and would stay here again, but Rio Del was a bit too small for me, but maybe not for others.

Beautiful location to enjoy local activities
We used the property as our home base to tour Avenue of the Giants and Grizzly Creek State Park. The location was perfect for our needs. Check in and check out were the easiest I have ever experienced. We had some issues getting access to the Wi-Fi, but the site manager was very responsive and we were eventually able to gain access. Tip - Look on the fridge for current Wi-Fi passcode. Loved having breakfast outside and spending time with the family. Overall, great experience.

Hot Tubs & Redwoods - a week in Paradise
Everyone was extremely helpful and prompt in getting back to us with answers to any questions or requests we had. A friendly and excellent group of folks from the hosts to the support crew, everyone seemed to have our best interest at heart. This made the stay an even more enjoyable experience . The house and neighborhood are excellent as well. We will be back.

Very comfortable Rio Dell home.
We stayed here for a week in mid July, and it was a very nice experience. The place was very clean and presented as in the photos. Large kitchen with table, and a comfortable sitting area separate from the nice TV / bonus room, which is upstairs. There were five of us for about half the time, and it was very pleasant. Nice quiet neighborhood. We found a few nice places to eat in Rio Dell. We didn't have time to use the hot tub, but it looked very inviting. My only wish might be, with 5 adults, for additional toilet paper, and some facial tissue (there were none). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would return.

Great property
Loved the house but.... House cleaning DOES NOT sweep under the rug in the dining room (found this out by accident). Only 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom - ummm not enough for 6 people for a week stay. Please remove "gas grill" from the description of the property as there isn't one! Other than that, we lived the house

Getaway in paradise
Our stay at Rio Dell was great! Pros: The house is beautiful and very clean. The grounds are very pretty. The kitchen has everything you can think of. The house is located in a quiet, upscale neighborhood with fresh air, and beautiful views of the forest and Eel river from the backyard. Very close to the Avenue of Giants, Ferndale, and Eureka. We didn’t use hot tub, so cannot tell you anything about it. Cons: There is no “communal” TV on a first floor. There is a nice den upstairs with entertainment and TV, however, if you have anyone with mobility issues you would not be able to get there. You should also know that the house has several steps to the entrance and no railing. No wheelchair access either. However, we didn’t let it spoil our vacation, and worked around it with my elderly father.

Lovely Property
Really enjoyed our stay at this property. House is A+++, bath tub, lovely bonus room upstairs, lovely property. Town of Rio Dell is very nice. Neighbors (particularly a lady walking a basset hound by the property multiple times per day) unfriendly (glaring, not responding when we said hello despite her staring so obviously, etc). to visibly queer family members (just be warned).

Terrific Stay
This was our family vacation for a few days getting in some coastal scenery & beach time. The home was absolutely immaculate and fit our family perfectly. The layout was open and it welcomed family games and making dinners. We enjoyed the wonderland landscaping and wildlife that visited each evening --- fox, deer & raccoon. The Jacuzzi was a wonderful experience after returning home after a day of sightseeing. We met some of the neighbors and found them to be quite pleasant. Beautiful neighborhood. Should our travels take us again to the north coast redwoods, we will absolutely want to stay at this particular Vrbo managed by Vacasa.
