A walk which should not be missed is the one which takes you to the Tonietti Mausoleum, an exceptional example of the Liberty Style and designed by the architect Adolfo Coppedè. Furthermore, the tourist resort Cavo has been expanded considerably over the past few years. A beautiful promenade adorned with palm trees and sculptures will take you up to the rocky promontory, where you will find the fascinating Villa Tonietti. Another strong point of Cavo is the regular ferry service from Piombino.
