Not thrilled with my stay at your hotel. The room above us people were making noise in the early morning, rolling things around on the floor. The front desk folks were not professional. Also, I have written directly to Hilton about the following. Saturday night 8.31 there was a thunderstorm that took the power off in the hotel. No one was notified of this outrage, I had to call the front desk to learn that the hotel was in battery back up and there was no TV, no internet, and no air conditioning. This made for a very quiet evening and to say the least frustrating. I have not heard back from the email I had previously sent so that is why I am sharing again. Noisy customers one night and many essentials missing one of the other nights. Just not fun!! I hope I will receive a refund or something for this inconvenience. I look forward to hearing from someone. I know my previous message indicated I would hear from someone 3 days. I have not heard anything from anyone! The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms are a little tight, but efficient. There are not many frills, it has more of an efficiency feel rather than a homey fell. Everything was clean and convenient. It sets a little off of the main road so some of the road noise is reduced. I would stay here again.

Everything about this place was great. EXCEPT for the floor in my room. It was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! You couldnā€™t see it by looking at it or even walking on it. I checked in late and had to leave early in the morning and I didnā€™t want to go through the hassle of changing rooms, so I didnā€™t go back to the front desk. First thing I did was take a shower and the walk from the shower to the bed left the bottoms of my feet BLACK. I cleaned them off with a wet towel and went to bed. The next morning I used the wet towel to wipe a spot on the floor and it left the towel BLACK. I wore socks for my entire stay and left them in the garbage when I checked out. They obviously do not mop the floor when they ā€œcleanā€ the room.

Tru by Hilton was not my thing. They made the rooms very minimalist but that reduced the conveniences, e.g., no microwave, the drapes are not fully blackout, the soap that is tricky to squeeze and too much comes out. The breakfast ended at 9am (on a weekend!!) and didnā€™t include many options. The only cool thing was a pool table in the lobby and the gym looked nice though I didnā€™t have time to use it.

This seemed like a new-ish property and was clean and well maintained. The room was surprisingly small - no closet or dresser, but rather a sign to put luggage under your bed or hang things on colorful hooks on the wall. The breakfast was disappointing - they really didn't have much except for two automatic pancake machines, but one of those was broken and the other couldn't keep up with the volume of guests (and there weren't even very many). The fitness room was nice and clean and had good equipment, although I wished it had a water fountain.
