I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kimpton Grand Roatan to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The hotel went above and beyond to make the occasion special by surprising us with a complimentary cake and bottle of wine, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The service provided by the staff was truly exceptional. Every interaction, whether with the front desk, concierge, or restaurant teams, showcased their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for their guests. It’s clear they are dedicated to creating a memorable experience for everyone. The hotel itself is stunning, nestled in a breathtakingly beautiful location with a pristine beach and lush surroundings. One of the major advantages of this property is its distance from the cruise ship crowds, allowing for a serene and relaxing atmosphere that feels like a true escape. While the experience was nearly perfect, I did find one minor drawback: the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service to the West End is only available after 6 PM. This limitation can be a bit inconvenient for those who want to explore the vibrant area during the day (and not use the water taxi). Expanding shuttle service hours would certainly enhance the overall experience. Despite this small critique, my stay at the Kimpton Grand Roatan was amazing. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil getaway.

The staff were absolutely beyond top notch (especially Leandro Vega, Teddie Thomas, Dinia & our server at The Drop Off). We adopted a stray dog and the hotel went above and beyond to ensure she got to be with us all times, brought her a bowl of water as soon as they saw us. The property was very well laid out, and very easy to navigate. The number of daily activities available were beyond impressive. The bed, pillows, and linens were heavenly. Definitely one of the top resort experiences we’ve experienced and beyond memorable.

Stay was very good. Beautiful beach you can swim and snorkel. I am worry due I was charged usd 1000 for deposit at check in. But when check out peiple at front desk did not refund inmediatedly. They say they will write when refund is done. I wrote an email and have not receive answer. It is important to refund deposit. They charge your card with your consume additional to the deposit.

The property is beautiful! The staff is welcoming and warm. Lea at the concierge desk surprised me with a birthday cake! It’s the attention to details that matter the most to me! Beautiful property.

We booked the 2 bedroom Beachfront Villa. The building it is in is in disrepair. Housekeeping items and dirty dishes left for days in the corridors. Lights do not work in the corridors. Your view from your front door is of he maintenance building where there are tons of stuff just sitting out. Side view from inside is of the roof of the beachfront restaurant and more resort clutter lining the side of the building. Loud music from the hotel next door starts at 9:15am until 5:30pm. Was not worth the $700 night room rate. Their star building is not the star of the show.

Great resort to stay for snorkeling. Awesome corals and ocean life on soft sandy beaches. We had the best snorkeling experience without even taking a tour, everything is right there! We will be back sooner than later. Food options were plentiful and very tasty.
