Poor tired casino
This poor old casino still has some life in it but it is not being shown the care and attention it needs. We had to return to reception three times from the sixth floor because of a faulty key reader. Reception finally yet cavalierly gave us a different room. Once in the new room, we discovered a faulty lamp. It was one of two lamps in the room, leaving the room pretty dark. The beverage station on the casino floor offered no coffee. I appreciate the bartender but felt badly that I asked for coffee three times. Although clean, everything just felt old and tired. So many things either struggled to work properly or didn't work at all. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Sam's Town could be a fun stay if better cared for.

We have stayed here before. This time, on a Tuesday night, there were hardly any people there. About 4 or five cars in the parking lot. We arrived late, about 10:30, and there were signs at the Checkin that it was closed and to go to security. But a woman behind the counter said she was working. She didnā€™t seem happy to be there. The room was clean and the ac worked great. It is very worn and dated though. The next morning, there were even fewer people there. More workers than customers. The casino was very stingy. I donā€™t know how they are keeping the doors open. Plus, itā€™s a stupid long way to drive to experience poor service and a lousy Casino experience. It was a very inexpensive room rate though.
