This property smelled like pure musk and dirt. The floors in the hallway were absolutely filthy!! Many people hanging out of room doors. If you’re a single woman I don’t recommend staying here, a lot of men here who cat call you.

I got into town late and just wanted to go to bed. They don’t have staff at night, so you’re supposed to call a number. I called and they said their service was down and they couldn’t check me in until 2 am. Had to scramble to find a place to stay and it ended up costing a lot more money.

The hotel was pretty clean for the most part, although I did sanitize and re-clean. Housekeeping doesn't seem to really pay attention to detail. Initially i had good interactions with staff but the last 24 hours ruined our entire experience. Upon trying extend our stay the day before check out i was told they were sold out and i should have "been extended " if we weren't checking out. I didn't reali,e they allow the rooms to be booked prior to guests checking out and was never advised as to how extensions worked, when to do so etc. The young lady was very rude, loud and offensive. She insisted that I was advised of the process by her coworker. She didn't know how to work the system or properly create keys that worked. During a rushed checkout my husband forgot his work bag. We were able to retrieve the bag but almost every thing of value was missing from it. His wedding ring, gold necklace, Samsung earbuds. Samsung watch, drawing Samsung stylus' etc and even his inhaler. We created a report and advised we'd return in the morning. The lady that took the report was passive aggressively nice and not a good listener. She talked over me answering based on her presumption of what i was going to say which was very frustrating. If it weren't for Kayla and Ms. Cheron this would definitely be a 1-2 star review. We were however able to retrieve my husbands belongings but needless to say we will not stay at this location again

Took over 20 min to check in. No one at front desk. A lady saw me standing at desk and asked if i was waiting on her. Told her i wanted to check in. It was 3:00 pm. She said she had to check some rooms and would be back. A while later another lady came in the door from outside and said she would be right with us. (2 others waiting) she was very nice and professional. While she was bringing up the computer, the first lady came back. It was still at least 10 more minutes to check in. I sat down in the meantime. Not good first impression. There also needs to be a sign for motel along the hwy since it sits so far from road. Easy to miss.

It was a good stay, the only thing I didn't like was that the property is flooded with low income people. Seems like the hotel partners with the county to provide housing for low income people. I was on the 2nd floor and can hear the people upstairs constantly banging and stomping. I was only there for a night, so I was in and out.

Bathroom had hair all over the wall a dirty wet facecloth was hung over shower curtain. Went through 3 tv remotes as the first 2 did not work. The hallway floor heading to our room was dirty and disgusting and never cleaned the entire weekend. The carpet in the elevator was full of dirt as well. The bed was uncomfortable and made a lot of noise. No hair dryer, no conditioner. Overall place was dirty, no coffee cups for the coffee in the mornings and slept terribly.

Dear Corporate Management, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the management practices I have experienced during my stay at Woodspring Suites Fort Mill particularly in relation to my treatment by the management staff. During my stay from 9-17-24 to 9-27-2024. Recently, I encountered a troubling situation where I was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome due to unfounded assumptions regarding the smell of marijuana in my room. I want to clarify that I do not smoke marijuana, especially in the presence of my four-year-old daughter. The thought of exposing her to such an environment is not only irresponsible but also entirely contrary to my values as a parent. Despite my attempts to comply with the rules and maintain a respectful environment, management has entered my room on multiple occasions without proper notification, claiming they were unaware it was occupied. Or they came in my room to look around while I was out because they smelled smoke. This lack of respect for privacy is concerning and adds to the distress I have already been feeling. Furthermore, I experienced a disturbing incident where a manager aggressively banged on my door, loudly announcing that she would not honor my stay based solely on her assumptions about a smell. Despite my explanations, she refused to check the room to confirm that there was no issue. This approach not only feels unwarranted but also raises serious concerns about the management.

I've stayed at this location extended periods of time and sporadically from time to time over the course of four years and I've personally nevwr had an issue. The people that even stay here have always been friendly as well. Staff has always been kind and courteous and prompt as they can be. It's an enjoyable stay and for the price and amenities is actually unbeatable.

I was impressed with how serious this hotel is about the security of their guests. I felt very safe during my stay here! I liked how clean the hotel was both inside and out, along with how pleasent it smelled inside the hotel.
