The hotel was certainly NOT suited for handicap access. Wheel chair ramp was steep and rough, floors in the hall and room are uneven. Bars in the bathroom are poorly placed. But hey it's an old building and it didn't cost $150 either. Really don't know what it did cost, was no one at the desk at check to get a receipt.

The carpet was stained and the front office was beyond unorganized! The so called breakfast was coffee, bread, cold cereal.

Room wasn’t ready when we arrived- under staffed- staff was trying hard. Property in poor condition No breakfast or coffee (pot cold from day before) Couldn’t check in until 7pm due to computer and room not cleaned.

Old sinking bed in the middle, disgusting carpet, bathroom door wouldn't close. This hotel reminds me of the 1980s. The Spee 8 might not have been updated since then. Even breakfast food was lousy. Not worth the money.

The outside is a disaster, was skeptical of what I got into. Room was clean, bed soft, restroom clean and organized. The only thing off was the AC, ran all night room did not cool off, slept with no sheets or blanket. Oh, and the outlet above the desk only had one port that worked so had to turn the desk against the outside wall in order to plug my laptop in. Overall, a good stay.

This was my second visit to this property within 8 days and both were terrible. The first visit I had no tv service and yesterday they placed me on the third floor with my dogs. A real inconvenience plus I had no desk chair in my room.

Stay away! The hotel was filthy, windows were broken, no toilet paper in room, carpet was stained, although they say pet friendly you have to walk your dogs 2 blocks away to relieve themselves. Got our money back and left immediately.
