Perfect for our Mom/Daughters and Grandbabies getaway. Nothing fancy; just fabulous beachfront access and beautiful views. Updates have been made but if you’re looking for “upscale” just go somewhere else. Let this be what it is - a clean, family-friendly, breath of fresh air with helpful, enthusiastic staff. NOTE: Take your own bath products - they are not provided.

Beautiful views, clean, and great kitchenette supplies. Not the property’s fault but smokers on the balcony next to us forced us to close the patio windows when we didn’t want to; preventing us from enjoying the ocean air.

Rockaway Beach Resort was not fancy, but it was very comfortable. The beds were perfect, it was very clean, and the view from the balcony could not have been better. 2 bathrooms made the stay so much easier when it was time to get ready to go on an adventure or a walk. The complete kitchen made it easy to eat in when we wanted to. The property is a little older but kept in great shape. I will definitely be back.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a base for exploring further up the coast. The condo was dated, but descent. It is a 3 story building with no elevator, not a problem for us but perhaps those with mobility issues. It had a bedroom with ensuite, 2nd bathroom, Murphy bed and sofa bed in the living room and fireplace. There was a table in the kitchenette, fridge and stovetop. The balcony was nice, with views of the ocean. Parking was a little tight. There was a pool in the office building, kids under 14 are not allowed in the hot tub, even with a parent which is very strange considering there was no one else in the pool area and they weren't horsing around. There was no AC or fans in the unit, so it got quite warm at night. Overall, it was a descent place to stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay as a large family with young children. Access to the beach was easy from the room and on the first floor was able to let the littles play in the grassy area next to our room. We spent every day at the pool where the water was warm enough to keep my little ones happy. The place as a whole needs some updating, but overall a wonderful stay and will definitely consider coming back in the future!

I was very happy with my stay. I liked that the office has DVDs, puzzles and games to lend out. Our room was very spacious with a great view, a nicely equipped kitchenette, and comfortable bedding. Easy access to the beach and a short walk or drive to the main drag in Rockaway Beach.

It was clean and served our purposes for one night. Annoying that no shampoo or conditioner was provided. Property is rundown. I would not have wanted to stay more than a night. Front desk staff was very nice.

View and beach access was terrific. All of the facility was quite run down and in obvious need of serious repair. The vents and ceiling in pool area were filthy. The structure of our room was literally unbalanced and walking across the floor was so uneven that the furniture literally leaned against the wall. Was concerned that new "bracing" had been placed on the walkways to secure them, but the rooms were not necessarily safe from an obvious settling of the foundation. Would not recommend to others.

Basic but beachfront - stunning location!
The property is a little old and needs some updating, but the staff were friendly and check in/out was very smooth. The location is everything - beachfront and close to many businesses in Rockaway. A memorable stay!
