I had to book this hotel as a backup. I booked 2 hours before checkin. I got there checked in at 3:15, they told me my room was not ready for another half an hour. I asked them if there was any way to override that as I had a graduation to go to. She did some calls and found a room and told me it would be ready in 5 min. I went out to my car gathered my family and our belongings. We walked all the way to the room number wrote down and it was wide open and dirty. We then walked to the other room as perhaps I got the rooms mixed up. Nothing. We walked back down to the lobby as the manager was there and said that we were going to have to wait at least 30 minutes. In the middle of me and my husband trying to figure out what to do in this time crunch, the manager storms by us saying she will go help them clean the room herself to get it done. As we were told there were no more rooms and had no choice but to wait… we walked outside, spoke and he went back in. Not even gone for 5 minutes he comes back with a room key and says it was my attitude. Maybe it was our interracial relationship that bothered them.

The staff was nice and room was clean. The hotel seems to be getting some renovations. Access to the this place is on an access road. If you turn from the highway at the light. You are entering a shopping center entrance and make a u-turn at the end of the island to turn on the access road. The walls aren't the thickest so you may here others in the hotel. There is a local restarant in front of the hotel.

The Hotel had some renovations going on. No hot breakfast however they did offer a bag breakfast that was really good with a lot of items in it we enjoyed. Rooms were clean and the staff was great. They did enter our room to leave fresh towels which was great. Only main complaint was that my daughter bought a book the night before and the cleaning staff obviously looked through and bent back the front cover quite badly. Nothing that pressing probably can’t fix but it did upset my daughter quite a bit since it was new.

Room smelled like cat. People yelling in room next to me. I arrived at 130 am. I would have called the person at the front desk but the phone in the room did not work. No other rooms available and no refund possible. They called the room next door. No change in volume. Had to call from my cell again. Front desk person came upstairs and knocked on their door. They were quieter for. 10 min. It is now 230 am. They are loud again. Called again. No refund possible. No breakfast although it says there is. Hotel is old and worn. WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Possibly my worst night in a hotel.

Booked two rooms for two nights. After checkin, one room we had smelled. They didn’t have any more double rooms, so they gave us an “upgrade” to single king business class. Came in the second day to our key cards not working. Went to the front desk and they said we hadn’t paid for that room. The manager wouldn’t speak to us. The front desk girl said we either had to pay more or leave. After about 30 minutes of trying to explain I paid for both rooms when I checked in, they realized they messed up the computer when they moved us to that room. Breakfast is a bagged breakfast.

The staff were very nice and helpful, but this property is awful. Exterior doors that are supposed to only open with key card don’t shut properly so no safety. Empty vending machines. No drinks or breakfast options. Spotty internet. It’s apparently undergoing renovations, so maybe all of these issues will be eventually resolved, but I’m choosing somewhere else next time I have to be in town. Sorry.
