Upon our stay we had to change room twice. There was a bug in our first initial room the staff provided a new room and there was a terrible odor in the second room. With that the staff then provided a third room which there were no issues

The AC was not working and the fan was blowing out warm air. We left out hoping it would cool down, but it didnā€™t. There were no available rooms within an hour and it was 3am so we barely got a few hours sleep and checked out at daybreak. The front desk associate Crystal was so helpful and came up to the room, but it was mechanical. She left a message for the manager and we even spoke to the morning attendant and was told they couldnā€™t refund because booked thru Expedia. The manager was left 2 messages, but has yet reached out.

Overall, our stay was good. The shower appeared to be cleaned in a hurry and the room had a slightly musty smell covered by air freshener. Staff was friendly and breakfast was a good start to our morning.

The curtain canā€™t be drawn because of the design, and itā€™s very bright outside during night. The property is aged, shower head doesnā€™t work well. Lots of stains in the tub and toilet .And thereā€™s no shampoo when we checked in. Staff is nice.

I did not like the room service that is every other day, consequently we had to request towels and conduct other things that the service staff does . My first time in a hotel where room service is every other day. We paid 230.00 a day for 8 days and it was far from worth it. We came to Laurinburgh do to an emergency and had to take what was available.

Before booking ask if their plumbing updates have been completed. Bathroom floor was wet all night from leaking toilet. There was sloppy, thick sealing around the base as if a repair had been attempted, but clearly wasn't completed or done properly. We got in too late to mess with switching rooms, but apparently they've been trying to finish plumbing work in several rooms. Aside from plumbing, it was too high of a price for the overall quality of this Hampton.

The property was conveniently located for my needs but it was very outdated and unappealing. It appeared clean despite the worn furnishings and stained/ripped flooring. The door had a large gap and rattled anytime someone shut a door to a different room. Staff was very nice.
