Property has changed hands and had some interior changes since I stayed last, so this created some confusion. Front desk staff was wonderful -polite and helpful. Room was clean and we had a beautiful view of the sunrise.

The room was clean and had an incredible view of the ocean and breakwater. The front staff was very friendly. I found a great spot to eat within walking distance. Some of the fixtures and furniture were outdated, same with hallway carpet and elevator. The shower water was cold and never got hot. Otherwise, I definitely paid for what I got and I’d probably even stay here again.

Our stay was good overall. The view from our room was great and there was ample room. Our room had a sitting area that overlooked the water and was separated by a short hallway where there was a closet and an area that had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We were surprised that the front desk had limited hours, but it could be that we were there off season. There was a number to call if you did need something. The thing that we didn't like, at least at first was that there was only a Roku box for the TV. It would have been nice to see the local news and weather. I guess the good news was that we spent less time with the TV and more time to spend together. Would we stay there again? Yes, we would.

I really like how they have it set up for check in after hours! Hard to find a place that will automatically have something in place for the people that need to stay but wouldn’t make it to a certain check in time! That’s how it should be!

The bed was very uncomfortable. It seems to sag in the middle. I am not sure why the air conditioner is mounted in the bathroom but it is a very poor set up and we could not get enough cool air from it.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were great, helpful and kind. I would definitely choose this property again for a future visit as it was convenient to all the locations I visited & there were many. Also loved being close to the bay for sunrise & sunset.

Hotel has taken steps to save money by taking way
The ROKU TV for TV entertainment is unacceptable. The front desk clerk actually had to sign into his private Spectrum account so we could watch network TV. Also, having to pay a premium cost for coffee and tea is unacceptable. We probably won’t stay there again for our yearly visit to Rockland.
