Great location on a pristine beach. Many shopping and dining places in a short walking distance. Building is deteriorating and has not been maintained well. Poor lighting in the rooms and bathrooms. Shower head was rusted and about to fall apart.

My stay overall was fine, but that’s also me being somewhat of a local. The room was large but needs better lighting. A microwave in the room would also be great since I was unable to reheat any food that I put in the mini fridge. My biggest issue was the price of drinks at the bar. Something that cost $10 everywhere else was $21 on the resort.

The property needs attention: cleaning (hallways were not vacuumed while I was there and they were extremely dirty) and maintenance (sliding glass doors were difficult to slide and very noisy). The hotel’s restaurant prices were twice the price of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. I would not stay there again.

Lovely hotel directly on the beach with stunning views, staff very helpful and friendly. Olenty of buses passing for easy access across the island, also walking distance to bars and restaurants close by.

Worse than I imagined
We stayed at Accra Beach hotel after many of the other hotels that we wanted to stay at didn't have availability. The hotel had low reviews and so we came in with low expectations. After staying, we can say that it was worse than our lowest expectations. The facilities are so worn down (and dirty) to the point of it being uncomfortable. Carpets, bathroom fixtures were filthy. There is no one to assist with your bags or help you when you arrive and leave the hotel. I know that there is someone responding to bad reviews that there are plans to update the hotel, but if that is the case, they need to lower the price. It isn't even worth $100 USD/ night in my opinion. On a brighter note the beach and natural resources remain beautiful. Its a shame that this run down hotel is adjacent to the beach. I always enjoy my stay here… I was disappointed the pool swim up bar was closed. It seems after the pandemic less staff are working. You used to be able to collect towels by the pool, now you have to retrieve them from the front desk. Also, you were greeted with a rum punch while you waited in line. Unfortunately now they give you a ticket to get your free drink at the bar. I always thought that was a nice touch. Bring that back. The location and beach can’t be beat. Lots of food options around the hotel as well. And please try champers restaurant and the Jamaican spot down the boardwalk. . The jerk chicken wrap is delicious and the fish fritters! Yummy!
