Clean and quiet. No wifi or tv but it's got all the basics I needed after a whole day of hiking like working hot shower, fully equipped kitchen and comfy beds. The proximity to North Cascades trail is what made it great place to stay IMHO. Karen is a great host!

Don't be deceived by your prejudices. This trailer has a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, stove and oven. It is air conditioned. The beds are new, the shower works, it was a great location for hiking the western slope of the North Cascades.

Wonderful Stay
Had a pleasant stay at Karen's place and will certainly return for more visits. Kitchen was great and plenty of privacy both inside and outside the home. Liked the location, very close to Mt Baker and lake Shannon. It was also very clean on the inside and had a nice storage space on the porch for ebikes.

Good location for exploring North Cascades National Park
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of the country. Karen was a great host-very friendly and helpful. The trailer is older and small, but has everything needed to recoup after a day of hiking. We left early each morning and returned in the evenings so we did not spend much time at the trailer during the day. We were thankful for the small AC unit in the main area as it warmed up during the days we visited. Proximity to the areas trails are the biggest selling points of this property.

We loved it!
Good rate for a clean, warm and conveniently located trailer in Rockport. It had the amenities we needed and was located in a spectacular corner of wilderness near the North Cascades. The turkeys kept us very entertained and Karen was super friendly, helpful, welcoming and had a lot of great suggestions. The River walk along the Skagit river by the property offered some amazing views and wildlife sightings too! Would stay again!

I was aware this was not a 5 star place prior to staying but picked it due to the location to hike. If all you need is a. bed to sleep in, this is your place, The beds were great and the kitchen had everything needed but shop before you arrive, no store in town. The owner was wonderful and it was enchanting living on a little turkey farm for 3 nights. I would return but know what to expect.

Cascade Getaway For The Win!
We had a great time escaping the city to this Cascade Getaway. The host Karen was a great communicator and so nice. We had a chat before we headed out for a day of hiking and she gave us some great tips for exploring the area. The trail connected to the property alone was worth the stay with breathtaking mountain and river views. Rockport State Park is a beautiful old growth forest with really fun trails nearby, about 5 min drive. The trailer was a modest, neat, colorful, and lovingly decorated space. Everything you need to cook in the kitchen. There is a cafe/bar within walking distance. Would recommend and would stay here again!

I liked the privacy and quietness. King size bed was comfortable. It had a nice big back yard. Having the gate that closes behind you was real nice. The only thing I guess would have been nice is to have a shovel to clean up our dogs poop. The owner was pleasant and helpful. It was kinda nice to not have television or other distractions.

Second stay was as good as the first!
This was my second stay here. It's location to the North Cascades is perfect, which is why I chose to return. My plans changed at the last minute and Karen was so gracious and flexible and was able to accommodate my requests. Thanks Karen! The trailer is simple but clean and has everything you need. The beds are extremely comfortable. WiFi would be a welcomed addition as I really had no cell service except when I went into local towns and went to restaurants that offered WiFi. Just come prepared with maps and plans becuase it might be a challenge if you are relying on your phone for those things. I hope to return at some point The North Cascades at absolutely beautiful! Such a great area.

Quiet location by North Cascades
Don't let the exterior fool you. Yes, it is a trailer home. But it is clean and comfortable. It is very close to two towns, both of which have restaurants (in fact, there is a small bar & grill within walking distance.) It is quiet, surrounded by forest and river.

Base for Day Hiking
We stayed here for 4 days to explore North Cascades national park. The trailer has everything you need for a quiet retreat. My only suggestion would be to add a few more pots and pans ( there were 2 plus a skillet) and a 2nd window unit in the back bedroom area. Our stay was during the hottest part of the year so I am sure that may have been a contributing factor. Overall we had a great time and would definitely book this place again in the future.

Good location to North Cascades
The property itself was fine, and Karen was very nice. However, When we arrived at 6 pm on the day of our stay, the place had not been cleaned yet, although Karen soon realized this when a different vehicle was in the driveway. She did clean it very quickly and the property itself is very well equipped with the exception of no WiFi. But, it does have a complete kitchen which we really, really appreciated!

Based on property manager's explanation, the building was build in 1900 and then was renovated, which I'm not sure. There is no TV and no internet. The bathtub is old and we had to bend in order to wash our hair. But, the king bed's matrass was awesome, very comfortable. The kitchen has fridge, microwave and stove. We couldn't find the key to the facility and call the owner, but didn't get the response. The property is kind of VRBO, so you will not have a reception. Expedia call center helped us to resolve the issue.

Karen is great. Karen made a yard for my dogs and a dog door since I was there on business.
I really enjoyed my time in Rockport. Karen has an excellent location. I was able to walk my dogs everyday without concerns of traffic. There are tons of hiking trails to be found. The location is quiet and peaceful. Karen made sure I had everything I needed and was available to answer questions. She knows the area and can recommend trails and events. I stayed for a couple weeks while closing on a house and would definitely recommend it.
