Great except for miscellaneous charge.
Really nice room and hotel overall. All was great until my wife asked for a few paper plates for us to eat a pizza. The clerk said no problem and gave her the plates and some plastic utensils. After we left i discovered a $15 charge on my credit card. They did not say anything about charging us for the paper plates. $15 for 4 paper plates?

We arrived at 4 and we they had over sold 1 of our rooms and we had to get one without the sofa bed and the other room wasn’t ready so we had to wait until we got back from a show to even get in that room. Power went out due to tornado which I understand wasn’t their fault but they had no safety lights in the stairwells.

We arrived to check in only to be told that our room had been given away. We reserved two queen beds and got stuck with a king bed and a horrid pull out couch. The bed was hard as a rock and not comfortable. The horrendous pull out was just that. We were told that the hotel overbooks regularly. We stood in line to check in with several other people that this happened to as well. I might also mention that we booked and paid for our room months ago so this wasn’t a last minute booking. Breakfast was just okay. There is no bar as the site mentions. Parking is awful. This is not a hotel we will visit again.

Tornado
There was a confirmed tornado that touched down & the power went out at the hotel. While I understand it was not the fault of the hotel, there was little communication offered about what was going on. I was treated rather rudely while sitting in the lobby after the tornado passed our area. I explained that I wasn't ready to climb 6 flights of stairs after we experienced the tornado so close to us. The tornado caused quite a bit of damage to downtown Rogers, AR. I was told, "Well, you have to climb those stairs at some point." I am 57 years old, and I understood that I would have to climb those stairs at some point. I did not need any advice. There was more communication given about me sitting in the lobby than the tornado itself. There was no call to my room warning me of the tornado either. I was alerted by my cell phone. Do Better!
