Wonderful Retreat
This is a wonderful home to get away in. It truly felt like a home away from home. If you are looking for a place to escape it all, this is definitely it! It was wonderful to be far enough off the road that our children could explore to their hearts content. Waking up and seeing cows and sheep grazing outside the window was a definite plus.

Rogerson Ranch
This home is one of the MOST quiet places!! The host, Mark escorts you from Rogerson directly to the door and shows you around. He was kind enough to answer our many questions about the history of the ranch before leaving. We were impressed with the abundant supply of paper products, towels, kitchen supplies and just about anything else you need. Plenty of space to roam both inside and out, complete with a small stream just down the hill which you can cross to walk back to the `nob' for a higher view of the landscape. We were lucky enough to experience a full moon, hail storm and Great Horned Owl sighting while here. Do remember you are on a cattle ranch where the flies can be a bit of a nuisance .... We found the people in this area to be so friendly and helpful, this was our first time visiting Idaho. An absolute must is a stop at the Sinclair gas station in Rogerson! It serves as a gas station / small grocery / Cafe / RV stop. Anita the owner and her assistant Ester put on an awesome prime rib dinner on Friday nights and also serve hearty breakfast and lunches. Do take the time to visit the little town of Jarbidge, it's an experience you'll not forget! The Gerber's & Foor's MI / NM August 2021

Solitude and Peace
If you want to get away from "it all" this is the place. Beautiful land, peace, and quiet, a place to unwind. That being said, it's not so far away you don't have internet. It's the perfect getaway when you want to relax.

Secluded ranch with lots of adventure
Our group of six stayed at the ranch house for just under a week. The house was extremely comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. It was a lot of fun staying on a working ranch. We went to a nearby dam for swimming, took lots of hikes, explored a creek, and had lots of downtime. The internet connection was great. There were mice (June 2021) which may bother some. Visit the grocery store on your way in as it's not practical to leave the community once you're in because of the driving distances. If you're looking for a few days with a group in a quiet location for rest and connection, this is a great option.

The property is situated in a remote area but the owner was happy to meet us and guide us back to the place although his directions to the place were very helpful. The cabin is isolated out in a big field overlooking a small valley with Elk Mountain to the south. We enjoyed a quick tour by the owner of the place. He was very helpful and you could tell that he loved the land and the cabin, which his parents had built. Everything is well thought out and you have everything you could need at the place. We we fe thankful for how workable the owner was with our group. We had lots of little children and a big group. It is wise to get all your grocery shopping done before going to the place as it is rather remote, but over all the place is beautiful.

Great hospitality
We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It was very calm, quiet and the house is how we saw in the pictures. Even though it was far from the city it was worth renting this property. With the help of Mark everything was so much easier, he is super kind person. We met up with him at a location and he guided us all the way to the house and along the way he gave us a tour. When we arrived to the house he had left a little gift for us. Mark was always willing to help us no matter what! We had lots of fun and made some memories. Thank you Mark and Lisa Guerry for everything 😊

Quiet, scenic, and comfortable.
This is one of our favorite places. My wife calls it her "Happy Place". It is out of the way, comfortable, and beautiful grounds. We love being out in the country away from all the craziness of the city. Mark and family are fantastic hosts. We brought an ATV and had miles of trails to ride. I recommend anybody who loves the quiet getaway in a beautiful setting, this is your place.

Beautiful and remote
Mark communicated everything with me and checked on us via email several times throughout the week to make sure we didn’t need anything. This ranch is definitely remote, but that’s what we were looking for! There’s plenty of kitchen space and room to spread out. We didn’t see any animals besides a few horses and the dogs, but they may have other animals at other points in the year. The house isn’t baby proofed (nor did we expect it to be), but it made bringing two 17 month olds a bit of a challenge. This is close enough to Twin Falls that we took a few day trips up there and spent time at Shoshone Falls and the Snake River!

Perfect Weekend
Mark was fantastic. We met him in Rogerson and e brought us to the property. Along the way he told us of places out in the country to explore and a little history of the area. Once we arrived at the property he showed us around. The ranch house was fantastic and well equipped. The property was really great. It was quiet and secluded. You could hear the cows in the distance and could see the livestock in the meadows in the distance. At night the amount of stars you could see was phenomenal. The home was relaxing and exactly what we needed to unwind. We explored the area and saw plenty of animals from deer, rabbits, hawks, osprey just to name a few. We will definitely be booking again.

We enjoyed the solitude, beautiful scenery, great home and the owner went out of his way to make our stay a great one. It takes a little time to get there but didn't mind that at all. Very peaceful and relaxing. Decorations were lovely. My brother and sister and I all plan on going back. It is a working sheep ranch and we enjoyed watching the sheep and their antics. A long way from Twin Falls (57 miles) but worth the miles. Unique but isolated.
We (all five of us) knew from the very start that we would be about 57 miles from Twin Falls. This was a family gathering (four siblings and one in-law). We enjoyed this VRBO and here are some comments from the group: "loved the isolation, ranch, hills, mountains and livestock setting. The house is a good ranch house and is roomy, nicely furnished and decorated." Another said "Always wondered what it would be like to live so far out, but there was such beauty in the house, surroundings and mountains in the distance. Had plenty of room and space to do our things and yet be together." Another stated "Very interesting place to stay. The space was great in the kitchen and dining area. Hotel rooms in Twin wouldn't have given us the chance to sit around the table and visit like we did. Once the second shower was made useful it was more convenient." Finally, "Once one is familiar with how to get to the house it is no problem - but it is off of the road that takes you from Rogerson to the ranch. And, that road has several spots where it has not been striped which makes it a little harder to see where your going at night. There are four bedrooms - one with a queen bed, one with a king bed, one with two single beds and one with bunk beds. Perfect place for a family, hunters, etc. All of us were born in the Twin Falls or Magic Valley area and we spent the four days reminiscing and re-visiting. Even spent a night in Jackpot, NV. The owner was most accommodating including meeting us the day we arrived to make sure we found our way out to the ranch. It's important that users recognize they should arrive in the day-time or have the owner meet them in Rogerson so they can easily find there way out to the home. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this home and found the owner to be informative, caring and kind.

The house and land were lovely and peaceful but it was far too long a distance from where we wanted.
We were looking for a house in Twin Falls. We wanted to go to Shoshone and Twin Falls water falls. This house was too far away. As a result the trip was very stressful and we never ended up getting to those water falls. Your description needs to make it clearer how far the house Is from Twin Falls. We never would have rented it if we’d known how far it was. We had the impression it would be a 71/2-8 hour drive. It was 11 hours. Then we couldn’t find it. We left Eugene at 7:45 am and didn’t arrive until midnight. It was horrible, absolutely horrible. Then we never got to the waterfalls because we were sick to death of driving. We made the best of it but it wasn’t a good experience and I’d never want to go back to Idaho as a result. This trip ruined it for us.

Secluded Heirloom Ranch
Fantastic setting and ample accommodations for a large group if you are a little on the adventurous side. This is a working ranch but a lot of work has, and is being done to make it comfortable. Nice exposure and view for high-plains/mountain area. Impossibly dark, quiet nights with privacy. The location is about 25 miles from where the map displays the town, so plan accordingly. The road is on the way to Jarbidge NV which is a hoot! If you want to spread out and enjoy wide open spaces... this is the place. If you need to be close to fast food or a big box store, or if you have never seen a bug it isn't the place for you.
