This is a lovely hotel with a wonderful staff and in an excellent location. It is easy walking distance from the train station and right off the main shopping and restaurants. It is also near the museum which is a must-see. The bottom floor holds a surprise; I won’t ruin it for you and you will have to see for yourself!

We had a reservation at a sister-property the "Erzscheidergarden". Reservation was made through Expedia. When we got there the Erzscheidergarden was locked up for the season. It was raining, cold and miserable and very difficult to get anyone at the reference number on the door. Of course, Expedia (or Expedia's computers) really doesn't care and no one at the hotel had the courtesy to contact us. We eventually reached someone at the Roros Hotell, it's sister property. We stayed there instead. Maia, the front desk person was a delight and took very good care of us. The room at the Roros Hotell was not luxurious but was very good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was terrific!

Un Hotel particolare in una cittadina particolare.
Hotel molto particolare, di stile nordico, sembra più una grande pensione ed è fantastico. Sala comune , salottini per ospiti, stanze semplici ma fatte con gusto e super comode. Vicinissimo strada principale, con parcheggio davanti. Un posto veramente piacevolissimo. Personale super gentile. Colazione deliziosa ed abbondante.

A first class Hotel with very friendly host. the timber wall building was from 1860, with cozy interior and a huge open fire place ' Peis' in the dining room. still the buildings are top modern with all facilities and each room has its own history. I want to return to this place winter time. Can be highly recommended!
