I liked the alien aesthetic and the service. The property is in a good central location. The building is pretty old but it's maintained. Only criticisms are that the microwave was old and didn't turn when heating food and the parking lot could use a re-paving.

The bottom of my feet were turning black from walking around barefoot in the room! Poor job of cleaning the floor. Current place we're staying the next few nights with same type of floor, not an issue. Place also very old and rundown AND VERY EXPENSIVE for what you got. Very minimal excuse for a breakfast, even for continental. Have no idea how they had a 9/10 rating. If cost was 1/3 of what they charged might have been okay (if floor was clean), but basically was just a big rip off.

First room we found two cockroaches so we asked to switch. The front desk attendant was apologetic and polite. The second room was fine but I felt creeped out and didint sleep well. I also didint like the area around the motel, there was a man sleeping in his car and behind the motel was an open abandoned area.

The name is what sold us on this property and also that it had a 9.0 score on Expedia. I’m so shocked! This is a run down motel with stained tile floor, shoddy fluorescent lighting, an A/C that would screech and whimper every time it shut off (which was terrifying at night!), the mattress was an awful spring 1980’s edition, they upcharged is a pet fee but there are no dedicated areas for dogs. It was over $100 when it should’ve been about $30 cash. ***This is NO reflection on the staff. The front desk attendant was kind and helpful.

Other than the name and exterior decoration of this establishment, given it’s location and the fact that our room opened onto a side street with a police camera monitoring, we probably would have stayed somewhere else when we saw the surroundings.
