This spacious, private home commands prime lakefront position on the shores of Lake Rotorua. With spectacular lake views from inside and out, you will fall in love the minute you arrive. With three bedrooms in the main house as well as a detached sleepout, the property can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests.

There are a total of three bathrooms and the kitchen is large and well equipped with everything you might need for entertaining.
The main house is spacious and accommodating. With a generously sized living room, a separate sitting room with extra sofas and a dining room that seats 8-10- there is ample space for large groups to spread out and enjoy.
For those needing to stay connected, there is complimentary high speed internet (unlimited), as well as a smart TV with Netflix. High quality commercial linen is provided and there is plenty of off street parking. Heating is no issue for winter stays- with a fireplace, heat pump and heaters throughout.
The single garage sized games room featuring table tennis, fuse ball and air hockey tables, ensures kids (of all ages!) will have hours of fun.
The house has a private jetty and four exclusive use kayaks for lake explorations. Life jackets and paddles are also provided. The nearby Waiteti Stream offers some of the regions best trout fishing and is only a few minutes away. The local 'Trout Man' offers affordable trout fishing lessons for those interested to learn too.
Here to experience Rotoruas renowned world class mountain bike trails? We have a secure store shed for mountain bikes with a bike stand, repair rack and wash down station. Skyline MTB park is just 5 minutes away, with gondola assisted uplifts and world class trails of varying terrain for all ability levels. The Whakarewarewa forest is 15 minutes away - with walking and biking trails for people of all abilities. Bike hire (standard and electric) is available from both these locations through Mountain Bike Rotorua.

The house is at the end of a shared driveway. There is plenty of safe off street parking outside the house.
Your host will be available at all times during your stay to answer any questions you may have.
Parawai Lake House is located in Ngongotaha Village, just 10 minutes from the heart of Rotorua City. There are a range of convenience stores in the village, including a Four Square supermarket, several takeaway stores, a bottle shop, chemist and cafe.
A cycle trail begins at the end of the road, which leads into town and beyond. The redwood forest is a 15 minute drive away, with world class mountain biking trails and walking trails to suit people of all abilities.
There is no shortage of attractions in Rotorua, from thermal hot pools, luging, adventure parks and the Zorb, treetop walks, canopy tours and many more! Make Parawai Lake House your base for all your Rotorua adventures. You won't regret it!

There is a cycleway at the end of the road which leads right into town and beyond.
This is a much loved family home, so please keep this in mind when booking and be respectful of this when staying. The house is located in a quiet residential area, with permanent neighbours. We have a strict no party policy in place and quiet hours are between 10pm-7am.
As the property has unfenced access to the lake, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.
