WELCOME TO THE BLUE ROOST ON THE POINT! Lake Hamilton next to Hot Springs, Arkansas!

The Blue Roost is located on beautiful Lake Hamilton. The house is in a neighborhood rural area. The BLUE ROOST is a one of kind, laid back kind of style lake house right Lake Hamilton! This is not a 5 star hotel experience where everything is brand new and top of the line, but a real lake house with a tower! The Blue Roost doesn't have granite counter tops, (ours are laminate, it was built in the 90's). We keep a clean, clean, clean house, but have kept the original integrity of the home, brass fixtures and all. And- we have a lot of steps to get down to the lake ... so keep that in mind for your group when booking :)

The Blue Roost is a 4 bedroom 3 bath house. We have 2 masters on them main level and 2 loft style bedrooms in the tower.

The Breakdown:
2 Master bedrooms with queen beds and attached baths are located on the main level and sleep a total of 4 adults.

2 loft style bedrooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the tower; a set of bunk beds (with trundle) on the 2nd floor, and 2 twin beds on the 3rd floor. This sleep 4 - 5 kids.

The rest of the guest are welcome to the sofa beds. (2 queen size in the main living area and 1 full size in the tower). The blue sofa is the newest and has the best mattress.

All 3 bathrooms are on the main level.

More about the house:
We do our upmost to keep the house clean and tidy. The couches are comfy. The entire house has wood floors so no worries about getting the carpet wet. If the kids get water on the floor, just put a towel down. And, if you water ski and want to do a slalom dock start, that's alright. This house is for younger active people who want to refresh, relax and get together in a clean and tidy place. If you don't want to swim or can't climb stairs, then this is probably not the house for you.

Overlooking the main channel, The Blue Roost has a good clean supply of deep water perfect for swimming in the summer months! Park your boat in our covered boat slip which is included in the rental.

If you need it, there is also a small boat ramp in our neighborhood you can use to launch your boat. We also own the point across the cove, which you can use for extra parking or picnicking.

Back to the house itself... walking down from the garage, you will see the tower, at the front of the house, that was originally an exotic bird aviary. That's where we get the name "The Blue Roost". No other house on Lake Hamilton has a tower! The tower has been transformed from an aviary into a living and sleeping space with a TV room (with full size sleeper sofa) on the main level and 2 loft style bedrooms on the second and third floors. This set up is great for older kids or young adults, however the tower is NOT ideal for smaller toddler age children or older guest who may find the narrow stairwell challenging.

This house sleeps 10 guests and has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.

Main Level:
-1st Master Bedroom: queen size bed, on suite bathroom with a shower tub combo. French door to the back deck.
-2nd Master Bedroom: queen size bed, on suite bathroom with a stand up shower. French door to the back deck.
-Guest bathroom with shower tub combo.
-Living Room / Sun Room: 2 queen size pull out sofas
-Kitchen
-Laundry Room

Tower:
Main level: T.V. Room with full size pull out sofa
2nd floor: Bunk beds with pull out trundle
3rd floor: 2 twin beds
Note: All bathrooms are on the main level.

If you like the outdoors, there is plenty of space with seating on the front decks and back decks of the house. We also have a charcoal BBQ gril for your grilling pleasure.

There's plenty of parking for 3-5 vehicles in our driveway, but please no street parking.

The wooded 1.5 acre point across the cove is ours too, drive or swim to it, picnic or camp on it if you like. It is 300' of undeveloped land on the lake.

We bought the Blue Roost back in 2014 for some family fun time with our kids and friends. However, we also want to share the fun. So please come on over!
