Look no further this is the place to stay in Douro Valley. Gorgeous property with breathtaking views from high in the mountains. Surrounded by vineyards the family owned property has a rich history in wine making and they are passionate to share that history with you and give you memories that last a lifetime. 10/10 We will be back!

Marie and the team are so attentive offering information and help on everything in the Douro, from restaurants, hikes to wineries. Provesende is high on the hillside with wonderful views over the valley below. A quiet oasis in a beautiful wine region.

Greetings fellow travellers. If you are looking for cosy, beautiful and personal - this is it! We booked 1 night at this place and decided right away to extent our stay. The location is so special and beautiful and Maria made us feel right at home. Her level of service is through the roof. Also, the hike from the hotel to Pinhao is picturesque. This is by far the best place we stayed during our trip to Portugal. The place is absolutely beautiful! The host welcomed us and explain to us the history of the place. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We felt like being home. There is a pool and a vineyard in the backyard. The decor is modern and cozy. The parking is accessible and easy. It’s 25 minutes to the best vineyards and porto houses in Pignao.
