It was nice that there were some restaurants / shopping that we could walk to. Parking was easy too. The place is very dated and the breakfast was a joke. I got there shortly after breakfast began and they didn't have any bagles, bread, bananas or much else. All of which they said are things that they have when I called ahead of our stay. When I asked about it, they told me they didn't get their shipment in as if it were no big deal. So "breakfast is included" but you might not be able to rely on it.

I like the proximity of all the restaurants, plenty of options, shopping and it has a kitchenette.The property is clean inside and out. The bathroom looks outdated, bed could be better, good enough choices for grab and go breakfast. I was hoping for a nice hot breakfast. Overall it was a comfortable stay. I will come back in the future.

The hotel pics definitely need updating. The property is very old and run down. They try to be tidy but the room is too old to really look clean. First, I was at the counter for over 25 min to check in. Apparently there was a problem with the way Expedia sent the reservation and they had a hard time figuring it out. I was the only person there, it was not a wait issue. However after about 15 min of them typing at the screen they finally told me that they could see my reservation but Expedia did something wrong. However, after my experience with check in and the condition of the room I had low expectations for continental breakfast. They had various individually packaged cereals, frozen breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, packaged juices and coffee. It was sufficient.

Perfect for the annual Aftershock Festival!
Perfect for our annual pilgrimage to Sacramento for the Aftershock Punk/Metal Festival! Having a full size fridge in the room is really nice because I have horrible food allergies and have to travel with my own food, so there was plenty of space to store all of it along with our oversized cooler freezer packs!

Yikes!
Mattress was uneven and very uncomfortable. Bathroom sink and faucet were filthy. Shower floor creaked when you step in and move around. Room furniture is beat up but can be overlooked if the room had been cleaned. Floors filthy. Sucks that I had booked a 5 night stay.

Good stay aside from check in mistake
Clean hotel with plenty of parking available. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The only negative thing was when we first checked in we were given the key to a room that was already occupied. It was quite the surprise to open the door to what we thought was our room and find two people inside. I can imagine they were shocked/surprised as well. We went back down to the lobby and explained what happened, then got the key to an unoccupied room.
