Mary at the front desk was so helpful, kind and considerate with my complaint of the door to my room not closing as it should. To get to close I and my daughter had to SLAM, and I didn't want to make that much noise. Next morning, I told Mary and she said she would change my room before I even had to ask. I was curious though why they weren't aware of this. I am sure house keeping had been there to ready the room. The room I changed to had a commode that kept running after flushing. Annoying but closing the bathroom door took care of the noise. A couple of times it wouldn't flush, I had to "jiggle" the handle so it would flush the next time. The breakfast was good. All I had was oatmeal, but good just the same. If it had not just snowed, I could have walked to dining. Guest laundry was convenient. Overall, I like the Hampton and will most likely stay there again when I am in Saginaw.
