Only stay if nowhere else is available

We’ve stopped in other premier classe motels for overnights in France before, so know they’re cheap and basic but this one was truly awful. Outside style strip light for lighting the room was blinding. Beds had rubber mattresses. Mold and worn out fittings. Shower was taped together, there’s no way we could have showered anyway the bathroom on our ferry going to France was far more spacious! Got online and booked somewhere in Calais to stop instead. Receptionist was friendly which was its only plus point.

This was a very cheap hotel for one night and so you cannot expect very much but it was not great. Staff were very lovely and helpful, but the room smelled odd, the bathroom did not lock and the bathroom was not clean. I have stayed in similar hotels before which were cheap and cheerful but at least clean and maintained. A shame, just needs a bit of TLC

Staff fine but hotel not. Cancelled our return journey booking despite no refund. Dreary tiny room. Uncomfortable double bed. Electrical socket hannging loose off wall. No plug for handbasin Moscow style. Surprised Expedia market this facility. Feel ripped off.

Layover en route for LeShuttle

Simple double bed with bunk directly above small tv and a toilet shower sink similar to a coach cubical. Not much room to move in. Priced appropriately for the layover which was fine. Staff were friendly.

Great for a one night stop at a bargain price after crossing the Eurotunnel, no fuss/ no frills hotel that we have used 3 or 4 times in the past and never had any issues and would stay there again. If you’re looking for refinement then this is not your place, but if you need a clean one night stopover them would recommend

Maintenance Overdue

There was only one pillow and no towels in the room when we arrived. The light switch was hanging off the wall exposing the wires. The plastic cover over the light was broken leaving a sharp edge and exposed wires. The cover was missing from the light in the bathroom.
