Ā The wine route
Ā The Wine Route winds from north to south through the hills of the vineyard, over 170 kilometers, at the foot of the eastern slope of the Vosges. Visitors can venture into the heart of the vineyard to the top of the hillsides by numerous signposted wine trails that invite you to discover the work of the vineyard and the variety of grape varieties.
The Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle
Ā Passing the high gate of Haut-KÅnigsbourg is like diving into the universe of the Middle Ages. From the lower courtyard with its inn, its forge and its mill, to the spiral staircases, which lead to the Lord's furnished apartmentsā¦ discover an architecture, furniture, an atmosphere full of stories. Monkey mountain
Ā The Monkey Mountain is the domain of Barbary Macaques. They have large spaces allowing them to isolate themselves from the public when they wish; they are fed; they do not have to fear predators and can move freely. Guides are present along the route to explain the behaviors you can observe.
The Lac Blanc resort
The Lac Blanc resort is located at the end of the Kaysersberg Valley, between 900 and 1,200 m above sea level. A remarkable natural site, at 1,054 m above sea level, Lac Blanc was carved out by a glacier in the granite of the massif, over 12,000 years ago. Today, the vast glacial cirque has, in winter in particular, a truly spectacular aspect with its steep slopes where a forest clings here, sparse.
