I was blown away by the clean, new, spacious facility and the wonderful, hospitable and helpful staff. The breakfast had lots of options including fresh fruit and I just loved the vibe of the whole place. I was bummed we only had one night there.

I was in NOLA in the hospital with my mom who was fighting for her life throwing up blood for 7 hours finally ending up intubated for 5 days and requiring a stomach tube on the day I was supposed to check in. As soon as I realized I had forgotten to cancel, I contacted Expedia and the hotel asking for compassion and a refund. I offered to send the hospital papers or whatever they needed. They refused to refund even one of the two nights. I pray no-one making this decision ever has to go through what I was going through and try to remember something as trivial as canceling a hotel room.

First off, I hope your mother is doing better. Now, dealing with 3rd party reservations is different than with the hotel. Our log shows that you were a No-Show and rightfully so, but there is no record of Expedia calling the property about this reservation. Please call and ask for Christopher and if I am not here, ask them to transfer to my voicemail and leave a message and I will call you back. Thank you
