Perfect Texas home.
The house was super cute and very clean. The host Ivan was very communicative and easy to reach. We didn’t have to travel more than 15 for anything we came to do in San Antonio. Overall great stay.

Overpowering air fresheners and bad neighborhood.
My husband & I drove 6 hours to San Antonio to see our granddaughter graduate. I rented this house because it had a recliner in the living room where I could sleep since I can no longer sleep in a bed because of an injury in 2022. However we couldn’t stay here because I couldn’t breathe due to overpowering air fresheners. I have severe asthma which is chemically induced. I had been in contact with the property manager & explained my condition & specifically asked that there be no plug-ins or air fresheners of any kind because I wouldn’t be able to stay otherwise. When we got there & open the door, the smell knocked me backwards. I was not even able to go into the house. My husband tried opening the windows & unplugging all the air fresheners. There was 4 in total! The house is not that big therefore it was so saturated that even opening the windows did not help enough for me to be able to stay there. The manager did give back our money, which by the way had been charged to my credit card the month before when I placed the reservation. I gave 3⭐️ for accuracy of online property description, and overall cleanliness. I could not go in the house & see for myself so I could not rate this 1 or a 5. However, my husband said the 2 smaller beds were smaller twin size. The neighborhood was pretty bad. 1⭐️ There is no handrails connected to the stairs on the front porch. Someone lives in the backyard, which is creepy. We had to drive 6 hours back home.

Love the house! The neighbors were super nice. It definitely felt like home away from home. We will definitely stay again! The only negative i have to say is its gets HOT during the day and takes hours to cool off( if your gone all day) we ended up getting a small fan and it helped a lot! Oh! Dont cook bacon or anything with a high smoke, it WILL set off the smoke alarms lol but overall a great stay!

Not in a good neighborhood
This house is not in a good neighborhood. I could park my truck in the driveway and the backyard is shared. I was not informed of this unit the day of check in . The inside of the house is okay . The house is much smaller than in the pictures but it was okay for one night .

Beautiful, cozy space in a rough neighborhood
The place was great on the inside. Great interior design. The property is really clean and well-kept. The neighborhood is rough, as you can expect, being so close to the Alamodome. The outdoor flood lights and cameras made it feel a little more protected. The house is cute and well-equipped, and it was super convenient to get to the concert we were attending.

Awesome House
This is an amazing house. My family had an awesome stay. Even though the ad said main house guest park in the driveway, we parked on the street on account there were other guests in the back house, but the street was quiet and almost no traffic going through. The house is super clean, and the neighborhood is real quiet. I read other reviews for this house that the neighborhood was noisy, we where there the weekend and it was real quiet. Perhaps no parties were going on during our stay, but it was real quiet. The neighbors were real friendly. We will be back for sure. I highly recommend this home for your getaway. You wont regret it. I would give it more stars if I could. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Comfy in San Antonio
This house was terrific, clearly it had been renovated, and was well done. The house was very clean, spacious and suited our group very well. We were grandparents visiting with 2 grandchildren, and there was plenty of privacy and common space. It was a quick ride to downtown & near I 10.

What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. I loved the upgrades and the rooms are rather large with vaulted ceilings - reminded me of my great grandmother's home. Very clean with all the amenities one needs when traveling. My only two concerns was the neighborhood, and the fact that there was another guest staying in the secondary home located in the back of the house. I don't recall reading that detail in their description. The neighborhood is quiet, but definitely kind of sketchy; my older father heard gunshots early in the morning on Saturday. Only located about 10 minutes from downtown though, which is a big perk. My family and I would stay again now that we know the ins and outs.

Overall experience was amazing. It’s a very cute, clean, charming house. We loved that there was refreshments in the fridge. Only a short drive to the river walk. We will definitely be back and would love to stay here again.

Quiet Neighborhood, Good Mexican Food Short Walk Away
The main house is adorable and where three of us stayed. The neighborhood was quiet and there is a good family-owned Mexican restaurant only a short walk away. The rest of our family was staying in other locations in the area but we all congregated here for meals. Plenty of seating and room for all seven of us to enjoy an evening together! The host was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. My only suggestion to the host would be to supply extra blankets as it got quite cold and we weren't able to adjust the thermostat to remain at a higher temp. The bedding was a fitted and top sheet and a light quilt. We were fine with having to buy laundry soap and extra TP but did not want to have to buy any blankets to take back home with us. It just would have a been a little more comfortable to have extra blankets. Other than that, I would recommend this property and host.

Cute House
This house has been updated very nicely and was super clean. We loved the amenities in the bathroom and the kitchen was adequately stocked. The only downside, which is completely out of control of the owners of this house, is the neighborhood. Friday and Saturday nights there were loud parties lasting until late into the night. It was, however, close to downtown and the freeway.

Excellent stay in a homey working class neighborhood
I loved this place. It was very conveniently located between a couple local convenience stores and a very nice Mexican cafe. It was a little slice of heaven in San Antonio which, for the most part, is a city I’m not very fond of. It’s far enough away from the blight of highways it has an older fashioned feel. People are friendly and the place was incredibly clean.

Thanksgiving in San Antonio
Lovely remodeled home in historic neighborhood. The house was exceptionally clean on our arrival. The hist, Ivan, accommodated our early check in request so that we could get our Thanksgiving meal cooked for our kids. The home has a gas stovetop and gas oven that served our cooking needs well. It seems like the host has gone above and beyond to think of the little things to make our stay perfect--robes, tabletop games and high speed internet with Roku TVs. A great stay at a very reasonable price.
